we where planning on staying in Termas Papallacta well known and a little down the road, but this hotel was full. We where actually positively surprised with Pampallacta. Rooms are around an area with 2 bath, the room has a really cute fire place that heats up the room very well! You almost jump from your bed into the bath.... More

We had a 97-USD room, and paying that kind of money in Equador you just – rightfully - expect more. The room had a fireplace and a bathtub – but otherwise it was pretty basic. No TV, no telephone, no WIFI. And very, very cold. Actually we couldn´t get the WIFI at the restaurant to work either – and most... More

We only stayed one night and arrived quite late at night for check in but were instantly thrilled with this quiet/quaint hotel. As you know they have their own thermal pools on site, 3 or 4 of them all ranging in temperatures. The hottest pool seemed much hotter than the actual Termas de Papallacta which was only minutes by car... More

This is review of restaurant only. Review has been written separately for hotel. Food is good, value is good and similar to pricing of the nearby hotels and restaurants. Mostly different preparations of trout and chicken. Great soup. We stayed in hotel and ate there several times due to convenience, but the service was always very slow. It was never... More

Not very impressive from the outside, but stayed here as it came recommended by a friend. The room we had in the back was cozy, but a bit dark. We had a large soaking tub made of rock, big enough for two, in our room and also a fireplace and a kingsize bed. There were two thermal pools, one indoor... More

It started that I couldn't book this Hostel from home because they wrote me after writing 2 mails that I should call them to make my reservation... So I called when we arrived in Quito to make the resevation - we booked a room for 55 dollars. When we arrived they showed us 3 rooms to choose, after choosing the... More

PampaLlacta is indeed not the fancy place the thermal hotel is, but for a third of the price you get a nice room with a fireplace (which was still warm the next morning) and a huge bath tub in your room. They fill it up from a central place (outside your room) at 9, but if you want them to... More

We chose to stay local and not overnight at the more expensive spa. We were welcomed warmly and given the opportunity to see the rooms available and choose what we wanted. I was pleasantly surprised that while small, our room had a nice fireplace and good sized personal pool for enjoying the hot waters in our room. The bathroom was... More

New years from hell. I'll start with the worst, this place doesn't even have a first aid kit. My father fell down in the poorly lit (complete darkness) parking lot and the hostel didn't even have rubbing alcohol. We had to run to a hotel down the road which had a medical facility for my father to get cleaned and... More
