Our family (9) stayed here in June while visiting the Galapagos, Amazon and Andean Higlands. Elena Acurio made us feel right at home and was the perfect host. When our daughter got sick she prepared soup for her. She arranged for transportation to and from the airport. It is a beautiful, comfortable and clean place and short taxi ride from... More

Great place, and the owner Ellana was extremely nice and accommodating. A small breakfast is included too. It's 3 floors so be prepared to climb a few stairs in a high altitude!!! Louise picked us up from the airport and took us to the bus station and made everything go very smoothly!!! It's also near a good restaurant district as... More

Elena is a wonderful host and will try to help you if she can. She doesn't speak much English but I found that we could communicate very well via Google Translate. It takes about 10 mins to walk to Mariscal Sucre/Plaza Foch and the supermarket is a few blocks away. The neighborhood itself is quiet and I felt safe here.... More

I'm genuinely surprised at all of the positive comments that have been left, and with many of the reviewers having only given 1-3 reviews... I can't help but speculate if the reviews are indeed genuine. We found our room to be very clean, but when we went down to use the kitchen to make popcorn for a snack, I was... More

Elena the owner is GREAT Location makes it easy to reach Plaza Foch and Colonial Historic District and to business areas. I think to conserve they turn off hot water heater in the evenings but it is hot and with good pressure in the mornings.

We stayed for 3 nights. Pros: Elena was lovely and super helpful! It was spotless. The showers were hot and the pressure was really good. Nice safe area and a short walk from the new town. I didn't notice any problems with noise. Lovely breakfast. Cons: We were so cold. Both in the communal areas and in our room. You... More

I'd love to be able to reflect all the positive comments other reviewers give. I agree with many of them so I won't repeat. My big frustration is that this place is *loud*. I am spending two nights here, first night was a fair amount of street noise and some noise from fellow guests who didn't use inside voices. But... More

Pros: Clean rooms Clean bathrooms Elena, the owner is a real sweetheart. She is very helpful and will do anything to make you feel welcome and at home. Cons: While the location is pretty good, it can be hard to find if you are walking/taking a taxi for the first time. The showers aren't always hot. You can find cheaper... More

This place is amazing and the lady that runs it even more!! Elena is so sweet, she makes everyone feel special. Things that anyone would like about this place: location is great, price is awesome, and the service is even better. I went with 13 other people and Elena made sure all of us were happy and comfortable. She even... More

I usually opt for big city slick places when i visit Quito but decided to try something different. I found Aleidas on Booking.com and could not go wrong. Business colleagues of mine were paying US$ 80+ a night for a nice room in a big hotel where i paid US$ 112 including tax for four nights! I exchanged mails with... More
