My mother and I had a great stay at Traveller's Inn. We stayed for two days at the beginning of our trip and two days at the end. The location is a bit outside of the Mariscal, but that makes is quieter than most of the backpacker hostels in the area. It is also within walking distance to the Trole... More

My partner and I stayed here multiple times. The staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. We used the kitchen to cook many meals. The kitchen is clean and well equipped. The rooms are spacious and spotless. They are cleaned daily and free shampoo is included. Breakfast is generous, they serve fruit, tea, coffee, yogurt, eggs, bread and there is also... More

We came here under the impression that we were staying in a mid-range bed and breakfast and that is exactly what we got. For those looking for a hostel, there is no kitchen, although there is a communal TV/bar area. For those looking for a hotel, this is a big old house rather than a purpose build, although we saw... We stayed here for 2 nights and it was just ok. To me this was more a guesthouse then a hotel. Its an old house and you can hear every step due to wooden floors. Bring earplugs and sleeping mask. Room was big with a small bathroom. Great breakfast but staff could be friendlier. I also didn't like the area... More

Pretty good value for a four night stay. Within walking distance to metro bus, trolley lines. Close to many restaurants, atm's, small convenience stores. The breakfast is included in the price and is very good. We had a two room en suite unit. The rooms were well kept, but not really very modern. Staff in thus family run business were... More

I stayed in a double bedroom with a shared shower and toilet. Good location close to Plaza Foch and restaurants. Breakfast is delicious and really well presented. They sell soft drinks and beers for reasonable prices and the wifi overall was pretty good. We went on a tour hosted by the in-house travel company to Cotopaxi volcano. They are really... More

For $19/night for a single room and shared bathroom, you can't do better than Travellers Inn. Located in the new town, a little north of La Mariscal, it has several good restaurants nearby and only a 10-minute walk to the "Trole," which for 25 cents will take you to the Old Town in about 15 minutes. Breakfast is included in... More

Stayed 5 nights pre galapagos, 1 night post and really liked this place. Good location close to plaza foch and all bars and restaurants, but not noisy. Breakfast is very good and overall the room prices were good value. The private en suite we had pre trip in particular was lovely. The in house travel agency seems pretty good too.... More

Only stayed for one night but loved this place. Opted for a private room with en suite, really spacious and had the comfiest bed so far on my travels through South America. Breakfast was great, consisting of eggs, fresh fruit, yoghurt and tea or coffee. Great location, staff very helpful and tour operator (although I did not use) within the... More

I've stayed in this hotel for 4 nights on my latest trip to Ecuador. The price for a singe the room with a shared bathroom was $19 a night and the facilities were acceptable. They also serve a decent breakfast in the morning. My only problem was the careless attitude of the owners to some of the guests such as... More
