Pros: location! Close to everything on a really neat street Bed was comfy Looked clean Cons: it was FREEZING! The host gave us a small heater which did nothing. I literally could see my breath in our room. We didn't shower for two days because it was so cold we couldn't take it. Never met the amazing owners. There was... More

Pros - Very friendly and helpful staff. Oliver and Delphine helped us to solve a problem we had with our bus tickets. They also can speak spanish, english, german and french. - Cakes are amazing in the Café, you should try the lemon/maracuja one. - Good wifi, faster we had in Chile - Perfect Location in Cerro Alegre near most... The hostel is a great place in a very good location. The owner is very helpful regarding any doubts in advance and during your stay. Unfortunately, we didn't book a tour with him. I'm sure it would have been a interesting experience. The breakfast is nice and the ambience is welcoming and unique! From our room we had a view... More

Granted, Oliver does a very good job running the hostel, informing travellers about the city and serving them a decent breakfast on the pleasant patio. Also, the building is located on one of the most attractive cerros of Valparaíso. However, we didn't have the best staying/sleeping experience. Some of the towels we received were a bit moist and smelled bad.... More

Very pretty and sweet little hotel. They only have four rooms, all painted in bright colours and nicely decorated. It was very cold there in April at night but there are lots of blankets on the bed. The shower was insanely strong, a bit too much to stand under. Hot water though. The building is old and you do hear... More

I stayed in Casa Kultour for two nights in March 2014. I'm not usually a "hostel" kind of traveler, but previous reviews convinced me to give it a try. I'm delighted that I did! The rooms are basic, but comfortable. The wifi is incredibly reliable. The ambiance is hip, but in an understated way. It's a bit tricky to find... More

Casa Kultour is a gem of a hostel, centrally located but relatively quiet as a result of fronting a car-free street. Incredibly helpful and informative managers - Oliver even drove us to Santiago airport himself and gave us an enormous amount of information en route. The on-site café is a great initiative and we used it every day for a... More

I stayed here for just 2 nights, but wished I'd scheduled longer to see more of Valparaiso & surroundings. This little place was a delightful find, located in the heart of everywhere. Valpo's a walking city, so everything's central and nothing's central. But apparently Templeman is about as central as you can get, and it's also one of Valpo's more... More

Great B&B on the best location in Valparaiso. Clean and huge rooms with clean and comfortable bathroom. Owners of the place are more than friendly and provided us with lots of information about the city. Breakfast is lovely with fresh bread and coffee every morning. Booked for 3 nights, but stayed for extra 2 nights!! City is great and a... More

We were looking for somewhere cheap but nice and private to relax. This was the perfect place. It's in one of the tourist locations but hidden away nicely. The owner is really friendly and helpful. Good breakfast and cosy room. I would definitely recommend.
