La Maja B&B is a gem! We found it by chance, wanting to stay in the Cerro Alegre/Cerro Concepcion area, I contacted the other B&Bs in the area, but they were fully booked and one of them recommended La Maja...how delighted we were! Maria Antonieta the owner of La Maja B&B is a great character, she made us most welcome, recommended fantastic places to eat etc, She is an artist and she has painted tiles and washbasins in the en-suite bathrooms. The B&B has three double rooms (one of them can be made into a twin) all with private bathrooms. Our bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on. We were travelling with my sister and husband, so my photos show both bedrooms.

For breakfast we were served fruit juice, fresh fruit salad or melon, cake, toast, ham and cheese, home made jam, coffee or tea.
