My fifth time in Valparaiso in 2 years and I shifted from a perfectly good modern hotel to see what it was like up in the old town. This hotel has a great feel to it; old, beautifully furnished, full of character, personalised service. The price is relatively high but it is worth it for the experience.. I will stay... More

I lodge at this hotel for 2 nites a couple of weeks ago. The location is perfect, with many good restaurants and bars nearby. People minding the place are very nice. The views are not as good as other similar hotel boutiques on the same price range, but the inside restauration and building has very nice feeling of old Valpo.... More

Lovely hotel with old world charm - lots of wood. Had windows that opened wide with a view of the city. One of the women on the desk spoke English very well. Rooms clean, nice bathroom, good breakfast. Located on a hill in an interesting part of Valparaiso, close to restaurants, funiculars, art shops. Beautiful walking to view "graffiti" on... More

This hotel feels far more like a warm B&B. It is decorated tastefully and feels a bit rustic with large wooden doors and staircases. Wonderful location up the hill in a safe neighborhood with many local restaurants around and fairly easy access to the train along the coast. The breakfast was delicious - fresh fruit, pastries and perfect scrambled eggs.There's... More

We arrived early after an overnight flight from the US. Our room was ready for us, clean, fabulous linens, great bathroom, pretty view. We were happy to have the a/c as it got rather warm that day- and hubby likes it cool. Walking distance to a lot. Some english spoken- enough for normal "hotel" conversation, but owner told me about... More

Quite positive experience, warm service, a place with soul. My only complaint is that the TV from the next room was too audible in my own room --- that was annoying. I also feel it's a little bit overpriced, but I guess that's the going rate for a nice hotel in Valpo. If it were not for the noise, it... More

This 4 month old FANTASTIC stay is a must if you like comfort and convienience. We were delighted after a night of dissapointment at another close-by hotel to stay at this hidden treasure. Sure when you walk up it doesn't look great, when you enter in it's beautiful wood work, and tall wooden doors, wondeful, helpful staff who are mostly... More
