They don't speak any English and when you turn shower on a fowl smell comes from the drain. I booked a hotel transfere with then which didn't turn up and had to get a taxi and was late. Staff knocked on door 3 times even though was checked out well within check out time. Was an awefull experience. Do not... More

The Hotel Riviera is located near the center of Santiago and most attractions are within easy walking distance. Our room was fairly small but adequate. They have free WiFi and free parking in the garage next door. The breakfast area was very small and crowded and they served only only coffee, toast and rolls.

The location is very good. Easy walk to most attractions in central Santiago. But also the rooms are very noisy even though I asked for a quiet room. The hotel is relatively clean. My room was very small. Service was bare minimum. The breakfast was bad. Overall for the price wasn't a bad choice.

I hate to give poor, if there was a poor-average, I might do it, but average? No, it is not. This is a BUDGET hotel, I paid $63 as a walk-in, cause I needed about 7 hours until my night flight. There is only one thing good here, and it is the location. If you want a great location, the... More

Stayed here for two nights at the end of GAdventures trip. Room was a good size on the 7th floor so not a problem with street noise. Bathroom had been updated but not the bedroom. Breakfast was provided but not good, just a few baskets of cold toast or crackers left on tables. Hotel had a restaurant which seemed to... More

The good things about this hotel are the services and the proximity to downtown/St. Lucia Hill and the price. The bad things about this hotel are the proximity to downtown/St. Lucia Hill and the small rooms. We arrived very early in the morning and the hotel was nice enough to give us rooms way before check in time. However, once... More

At arrival late at night we were first a bit disappointed, the rooms are not so super nice, and there was no bar or so. But the next 2 days we changed our minds, because breakfast is nice, the hotel is nice located at a nice square end the people are super freindly and helped us really good with booking... More

On a busy, and noisy, junction, the Riviera is in a good location for exploring Santiago. Downtown with shops and sightseeing, Santa Lucia hill and the restaurants of Lastarria are close by. The building is quite old and this is reflected in the rooms. I had to change rooms and while one was bright and airy, the other was dingy... More

Trip Advisor reviews give an objective view of the Hotel Riviera. It is in a good location close to the hill, major buildings, the metro and a short walk to a good restaurant/bar area. We arrived during a public holiday at around 3pm and the room wasn't ready and one of the housekeeping staff was having lunch in one of... More

The great feature is the location, followed by the price. The rooms are spacious and clean, but not chic by any standard. Given the low price they couldn´t be anyway. Didn´t have any problems with the service, but it is a little hard to sleep sometimes due to the noise coming from the street.
