We arrived late at night to find a swanky-for-the-1960s hotel with an attentive reception desk and a profoundly diligent bellhop. They checked us right in and told us about the hotel’s amenities in the clearest, most patient Spanish we heard anywhere in Chile. The bedroom was clean and, for a city, fairly spacious. It had a patio large enough for... More

A very nice, clean boutique hotel (about 35 rooms) in a very nice section of Vitacura. On a main street close to local stores and restaurants as well as walking distance to Parque Arauco shopping complex. Lot of buses to choose from but not too near the subway. Nice building, good restaurant and bar as well as small garden. Even... More

If your looking for a bed/room that's clean and tidy this is a good hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful and speak good English. The only things I didn't like is it didn't have a lift but staff helped with luggage. Very good breakfast and good location close to other restaurants and gym.

I have been in this hotel for 6 days and I must say that the food is excellent, beyond the ordinary. The entrees and food dishes are out of this world. I strongly recommend the merluza and salmon. The owner is basque so I can see where the excellence comes from. On a second note, the staff is incredibly friendly.... More

This hotel is a lovely boutique hotel in a great location for seeing all that Santiago has to offer. Being a small hotel, the staff offer a warm and welcoming service to all. The moment you walk in the door the receptionists greet you with a warm smile and the restaurant servers are also very kind and accommodating any special... More

Everything was excellent, very friendly people working there! THE FOOD SERVED IN THE RESTAURANT IS AMAZING! :) The only downside was that we were staying next to the room with the towels, shampoos, lotions and cleaning stuff, and at 7:00 am all the girls that work at the hotel were gathered there, filling their carts, talking and joking, and they... At best, it was a very average hotel. No more. We stayed here after an amazing 4 weeks on the west coast of South America taking in a cruise around the Galapagos Islands, 3 nights in Lima, a stay up the Amazon 3 hours from Iquitos and finally Cusco, the Sacred Valley and a 1 day trek to Machu Picchu.... I thought previous reviews were exaggerating - but no. Love this place. Comfortable, stylish and excellent wifi. Staff are very friendly and the breakfast was simple but very good quality. Also good value - I left a hotel that cost twice as much but this one is twice as good. Going to try the restaurant now.

Hotel Bidasoa was the best decision we made during our recent trip to Santiago. The hotel was beautiful, the food was delicious, the vibe was relaxing, but most importantly, the staff was beyond incredible. They went out of their way constantly to ensure that we had a perfect trip. They helped us whenever necessary with smiles on their faces. When... More

Stayed there after touring Antarctica and national parks in chile. Great staff, nice boutique hotel convenient to shopping and excellent dining and away from crowds in the center of the city. Phillip was the most accommodating and in fact served as our local tour guide - fantastic.
