Everything was excellent, very friendly people working there! THE FOOD SERVED IN THE RESTAURANT IS AMAZING! :) The only downside was that we were staying next to the room with the towels, shampoos, lotions and cleaning stuff, and at 7:00 am all the girls that work at the hotel were gathered there, filling their carts, talking and joking, and they... At best, it was a very average hotel. No more. We stayed here after an amazing 4 weeks on the west coast of South America taking in a cruise around the Galapagos Islands, 3 nights in Lima, a stay up the Amazon 3 hours from Iquitos and finally Cusco, the Sacred Valley and a 1 day trek to Machu Picchu.... I thought previous reviews were exaggerating - but no. Love this place. Comfortable, stylish and excellent wifi. Staff are very friendly and the breakfast was simple but very good quality. Also good value - I left a hotel that cost twice as much but this one is twice as good. Going to try the restaurant now.

Hotel Bidasoa was the best decision we made during our recent trip to Santiago. The hotel was beautiful, the food was delicious, the vibe was relaxing, but most importantly, the staff was beyond incredible. They went out of their way constantly to ensure that we had a perfect trip. They helped us whenever necessary with smiles on their faces. When... More

Stayed there after touring Antarctica and national parks in chile. Great staff, nice boutique hotel convenient to shopping and excellent dining and away from crowds in the center of the city. Phillip was the most accommodating and in fact served as our local tour guide - fantastic.

A great find, relaxed atmosphere, very helpful staff and excellent food. Will definitely return to this great hotel. Hotel Bidasoa Boutique has a much better feel about it than some 5 star hotels and the outdoor pool, garden courtyard and restaurant are great areas to relax and the free high speed Wi-Fi is a bonus.

I was frankly surprised that this hotel was rated #1 in TripAdvisor. We stayed there as part of a group, but I had read the reviews in advance. Our room, which seemed to be representative of the whole hotel, was quite average. The door to the room was flimsy and the finishes seemed to be of relatively poor quality. The... More

Dear Brooklyn Travel hound: We really appreciate your time and your important comment for our guests. People who write down an opinion in Tripadvisor, bases this in their own experience related to the style and service we provide. This hotel and its staff were a Godsend! Due to a travel hiccup (to say the least!) we found ourselves on Bidasoa's doorstep and from there our trip only went up. The patio restaurant/bar was exactly what we needed after a couple of long flights- its airy ambiance and loungy feel immediately made us feel welcome and relaxed. Felipe, the... More

We found Bidasoa by accident and lucky we did. Wonderful ownership, small, great restaurant, and friendly. Staff works to help and make your Santiago experience special. Staff helped arrange a charter flight to Patagonia when we thought we might not make it. We did!!!

We were greeted with smiles and such positive energy! After we put our bags down and quickly went to the patio...it was so charming, relaxing and the perfect spot to unwind and have our first cervezas of our trip! We had such a memorable evening drinking, eating and laughing. Then we met Felipe! He is an absolute Saint and made... More
