I'd rate this hotel as 3 stars minus. Really no ambiance and a bit dismal. Stayed there twice and my first room was nothing more than a closet, and bathroom fixtures primitive. 2nd time room was a bit bigger and better bathroom. Breakfast was average. Location in a nice section with lots of outdoor restaurants nearby and also close to... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in November and found the hotel fairly well located close to the metro station. We found the room very small and outdated however some other reviews seem to mention a lot of space in their room so there may be differences. The breakfast buffet was fine and staff was very friendly and helped us out... More

Hotel is in a very nice area with restaurants in walking distance. Room was clean and comfortable. WiFi worked well. Parking is a available although for the uninitiated driving in Providencia with a rental car is a little daunting! Staff were extremely pleasant too, breakfast was very nice. I am a bit particular about bathrooms and ours was clean...only thing... More

Centrally located in the city with numerous restaurants and bars nearby, only a short walk to everything. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was quite large with all the amenities one would need, including a spacious bathroom. Free wifi was great and we didn't have any problems with internet speed, etc. Good selection of TV channels in Spanish and English.... More

Well located in Santiago, in the neighborhood of Providencia, Diego de Velazquez has clean rooms, free wi-fi, good breakfast and excellent guest services. Very near to the famous restaurant El Giratorio and the huge Shopping Mall Costanera Center. There is a small mall right in front of the hotel, the Panoramico Mall, a good place to change your money with... More

This is a four star hotel with all the proper amenities. The best part of my stay here was the complimentary Wi-Fi. I had just been on Easter Island for four days without Wi-Fi. Consequently the Wi-Fi at this hotel was most welcome. The room was clean and comfortably air conditioned. The complimentary breakfast was also welcome. Check in was... More

This is my favorite 4-star hotel in Santiago. The rooms are nice and have a large closet where you can leave your suitcases and even get dressed inside! Just at the opposite side of Mall Panoramico and very close to metro station Los Leones. Coming back with another group next month!!! I highly recommend it !!!

Stayed here as part of a tour for 3 nights. The locations seemed okay but it was quite a walk to any restaurants at night and two nights we had to eat a substandard meal simply because of a lack of nearby options (to our knowledge). The rooms are very basic and outdated. It does need a refurbishment. Also our... More

Don't do it. The hotel lobby was okay; the rooms and hallways are very poor - old and in bad condition. In addition to that the rooms were very odd configurations; our group had 5 rooms. Some were almost closets; mine was just awkward. The food was not good either. It was fairly close to one of the nightlife parts... More

I stayed here for four nights during a recent research visit to Universidad de Chile. The hotel is very conveniently located, just 3mins from the next subway stop and 5 stops from the city centre. Close by are some excellent restaurants (see my reviews of La Biferia and Aqui Esta Coco) as well as bars, a shopping mall, banks, etc.... More
