Our son, a college student, was completing a semester abroad when we decided to visit him in Santiago and asked him to make a hotel reservation for us. My very first impression of the hotel was that it is old, outdated and worn out., not as nice as I would have hoped. I didn't complain, however, because I didn't want... more

We passed Santiago 2 times and stayed at Chilhotel, because the price was great, the location excelent, and very clean, quiet and great beds! Second time we stayd there, I got some sickness problem with my stomach. The friendly staff helped out for 2 extra days with contacting doctor, getting special made food to the room (for free), helping to... more

For the price of $65 USD per night, not bad considering the higher priced alternatives in Santiago. The room was comfortable and clean. A bit small, and the bathroom was on the small side as well. Very quiet place and a great part of town. The staff at the front desk also spoke decent English. Breakfast was mediocre at best.... more

Santiago is huge, and this hotel is located in a nice, safe, and convenient part of the city, which is exactly why I chose it. I'm glad I did, after seeing other parts of the city (Providencia is very nice). It isn't fancy by any means, but it's a nice place to sleep and unwind after a long day of... more

We stayed at this hotel from the 14. Nov. till the 19. Rented one of the "departamentos. Very clean and modern. Located in a quiet little street, close to Avenida Providencia and the Metro. Good breakfast and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this hotel to everyone !!! more

I spent three weeks in one of the hotels apartments in the building directly over the road from the main hotel, i found the apartment to be very clean and furnished to a high standard, the staff were exellent and attentive at all levels, nothing was a problem and the rooms were serviced to a very satisfactory level,I would have... more

This is the place to stay for local skiing. I came here in September to ski Portillo and the 3 local ski resorts - La Parva, El Colorado and Valle Nevado. (It is difficult to get a room at the resorts for less than a full week.) The hotel is just a few minutes (maybe 3-4) from the excellent subway... more

The "hotel" was worse than many hostels I have stayed at. The whole place just has a bad smell to it. The $65 we paid for the night is more than I would want to pay for a hotel like this. The rooms are a good size but the carpet that runs throughout the hotel is just terribly old and... more

I was here for 3 nights. It is a good hotel for the price. Very close to the metro and in a very safe and good part of Santiago Providencia. Clean bed and bathroom. Plus free internet. The breakfast which is included was very basic. -Rolls and jam and coffee or tea. There is no elevator in this hotel -... more

Great location near Providencia, and the Puerto Montt metro station is about a block away. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. ChilHotel is clean, not a lot of frills, but the location and staff were superb. more
