The best thing by far about this hotel it its location, just off one of the main streets in the city, so you are only minutes away from some great shops and restaurants. Unfortunately I have to agree with the other comments that the service is a bit limited, examples being absolutely no flexibility on an early check in (our... More

This hotel must be run by Basil Fawlty. The staff do not care about customer relations nor are they helpful or courteous. Safes provided are useless as they are removable from rooms and early requests for breakfast although agreed to are not honoured .The WIFI will not work in your room and the shower is built for midgets not normal size... Being modernised and refurbished but staff are inhospitable. Can't be bothered to attend to small requests or assist. we were on a Perrigrine tour and stayed there for 2 nights and most of our group felt the same way. Everything was a challenge .... To the extent that we felt unwelcome. Rooms are very small and have been upgraded to... More

Traveled to Santiago, Chile to chaperone a trip of American college students. This hotel was conveniently located (a few blocks from subway). Staff was friendly, rooms were suitable in size (not large, but enough space). Bathrooms were very good and clean, but toiletries were inexpensive. Hallways were a bit dark and did not seem very clean, however, there was construction... More

The location is excellent, the rooms are terrible and the services are poor. I understand Panamericana intend to upgrade the rooms, but when. The staff are helpful, and the breakfast was average. The airconditioning was very noisy. Impossible to get any coffee or tea before 7am, No service outside on the patio, in the morning. Reception did assist us with tour... More

The comfort of the hotel is below my expectation, no doubt is very old. The AC cannot be turned off, safe locker is not functioning ( in fact very old fashion too), no shower gel is provided but just soap, no coffee making facility, no kettle for boiling water. Even upon my request, then they went out to buy a... More

Hotel is old. Runned down. Walls are paper like. You can hear everything. Specially in the bathrooms. They are ok in size, but old. Heating came form a cheap split AC unit, nothing else. This hotel in any other city should not be more than 45 USD a night for a double. Santiago is expensive considering Appartment rentals or hotel... More

The double room was a single room with two beds united... not as big as the price suggests... Kind of old hotel... the swimming pool is outdoor which makes it hard to use in the ski season... The reception is not realiable as they didn't gave me a message and don't really helps with information about the city or anything... More

We stayed here (sadly) 3 nights at the end of our 3-week tour of Argentina/Chile with Adventures Abroad. There is only one good thing to say about the hotel: the front desk gave us the name of a department store so we could buy a replacement for my husband's broken suitcase. Otherwise the front desk was inept. My husband tried... More
