We arrived at the Hotel about 11:00 am; they had been completely sold out the night before so our rooms were not ready. We asked if we could take showers at the Spa and they said of course! Here comes the really terrific part, we travel a lot and many times the rooms are not ready and you have to... More

The service and room both were great. But I was impressed enormously on its executive lounge. You have more than 180 degree view of the Andes and city. You have many many choices of the food and alcohol drinks. You know Chile is a wine country as soon as you walk into the gigantic lounge after 4:00pm. Great staff, great... More

We stay here for 2 nights precruise. We paid 15000 pesos (about 15 Usd) for 2 of us in a share shuttle van to the hotel's front door. All the staffs speak English very well and very helpful specially Patrick , he always give us the guesstimate taxi fare anytime we need a taxi . The property is nice but showed age... More

I've never stayed in a bad Hyatt chain. Hyatt at Santiago is very good. All the staff speaks good English and service is impeccable. I had the best massage so far in this trip at their spa. Their swimming pool looks so nice and huge. Only downside is it is not heated. I've to pray then jump in and swim... More

Stayed with family for 4 nights. Rooms are spacious and clean, but the overall feel of the place is old. I even got a old-style TV (not LED, not flat), electronics inroom are old-fashioned as well, e.g. a very old stereo set and a very old plug station. The room setup is exactly the same as I stayed 10+ years... More

Should you find yourself in Santiago,Chile, stay at the Grand Hyatt.Tour earthquake-cracked,colourful raffish Valparaiso, visiting on the way organic vineyards in the Central Valley to taste red wine from the Carmenera grape, extinguished by phylloxera in the Old World.Return to the well-replenished food and wine evening buffet in the hotel's club lounge on the 16th floor overlooking the sunset-glowing Andes beyond the city.Rooms... The good bits include the spectacular views of the mountains, the wonderful grounds, the pool area and the spacious rooms. The bad bits included a 30 minute wait for reception when we arrived at 1 pm on a Sunday. A 4 hour wait for our room with no indication offered as to when we might get our rooms, despite the... It is a big hotel, with a nice garden with a huge pool and several restaurants so basically everything you need is there. Rooms are big and the beds are super comfortable. The location is great, close to the offices of Las Condes (walking distance) and 10 min walking distance to the mall Parque Arauco. The hotel does tend to... More

Imagine having the General Manager of the Hotel personally greeting you at the front desk when you arrive. This is just one small example of the outstanding experience you can expect at the Grand Hyatt Santiago. You will love the location, the staff, and the service. As you know, earthquakes are not uncommon in Santiago. It was good to know... More
