We stayed here for 2 nights in January pre cruise. The views from the 14th floor room were great and the pool area was excellent. Breakfast each morning was chaos! Shortages of everything, poor service and average food. More

Stayed here four days in December. area good in the elegant El Golf area. We had just arrived at the beginning of 2month holiday in South America and Antartica. Hotel looked gorgeous for Christmas decorated with Sleigh, Christmas trees, hot drinks in foyer. My husband was taken ill and they arranged car to amazing modern hospital where he saw three... More

This Ritz is old but still exudes the air of luxury we come to expect. The facilities are excellent -- stunning rooftop pool and spa area with gym. The rooms are also large but I was surprised by the towels, which were old and thin (I've had better at a hostel!!) and skimpy bath supplies. The customer service was also... More

We arrived at the Ritz Carlton at the end of three weeks travelling in South America and really appreciated the high level of service. From the moment we arrived all staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and it was a treat to have English speaking staff instead of relying on our poor Spaniah. We had booked a Club room and... The hotel is beautiful and the room is quite good. Nevertheless, I did try to pay for an upgrade but the front desk 'lady' was rudely shut me up informing me that there was no room available. There was no need to " snap" at me that way. I was very upset and sad indeed! I thought she was rude... More

Great location and favorite pre-cruise stop for those taking cruises out of Valpariso, Chile. Scenic rooftop pool and fitness center and great restaurants. Concierge does an excellent job setting up city tours and wine country trips/luncheons. The hotel is quiet and has old European charm. The rooms, lounges, lobby are comfortable if a bit worn. The staff is friendly and... More

We stayed for 3 nights on the club floor and were very disapointed, not up to the standards that we are used to at the Ritz. Amex Platinum "upgrade" to a jr suite - i would hate to see a regular room for $550us/night! Room was tired and showed its age and the "suite" has only one sink/vanity. No slippers.... More

I have stayed a the Ritz Carlton in Santiago three times in the past 2 years on business and have always had a good stay. I was most recently there in November 2011. The hotel has excellent service and the staff almost all speak perfect English. The hotel is quite, comfortable and well built (Ive been there during a small... More

Negatives: Getting tired , needs renovation. Positives: location great for business or pleasure, subway outside.Great staff, superb F&B with great service. Amex Platinum members upgraded to suite, plus $100 spa credit and late check out makes the price worthwhile, otherwise not great value. Incidently, santiago is a great city... More

I stayed at the Ritz Carlton 3 separate times on my trip to Chile and thought it was quite affordable but somewhat dated. I have noticed that Ritz Carlton's are either very modern (Tokyo) or more classic (more formal and traditional luxury) and this is one of the classic hotels which is fine if you are expecting that. It is... More
