My wife and I stayed here for three days while touring Santiago. The best about this hotel are the concierges--the best I have ever experienced. They taught us Spanish, bought us train tickets, gave us the best directions, and even gave my adult children a tour of the top floor, when they arrived. If you are a Starwood Gold member,... more

This is a nice hotel and, in spite of other comments, in a nice location. You can go by foot to BellaVista area or Providencia. Not more than 20 minutes walking. For a 5-star hotel, the service is what you can expect, simply excellent. Rooms are very nice and quiet. shower difficult to figure out. The garden restaurant has a... more

I agree with the good and bad of previous posts. This is a very nice property in a challenging location. First the good. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, sofa, and nice bathrooms. The service is high quality and personalized and the butler service is superb, unpacking of luggage and coffee with wake up calls. The lounge is nice... more

This hotel is the best hotel in Santiago I have stayed at. I have been many times and have stayed at every major hotel. The service is spectacular, the rooms are excellent and the food is wonderful. It is important to note that it is attached to the Sheraton Hotel so be careful when making the reservation. more

The San Cristobal hotel is beautiful and elegant with a friendly and well trained staff. The hotel is connected with a Sheraton property and shares restaurants and pool facilities. This property is within walking distance to restaurants and shops, but only if you’re willing to walk a bit; maybe 5-6 blocks. The onsite restaurants are very expensive when compared with... more

I stayed at the San Cristobal Tower for three nights last week and found it to be an awesome experience. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and very well-appointed. I used my SPG points and was treated extremely well by everyone with whom I came in contact. It wasn't in the center of downtown,... more

A very comfortable and spacious city hotel with very efficient staff. Luxurious and roomy bedrooms and bathrooms and lovely views from top floor breakfast area. All requests were dealt with promptly and efficiently. A short, inexpensive taxi ride from the city centre. I would definately choose this hotel again. more

This is a very nice 5 star hotel however the location is out of the way. You either need a car or plan to spend a lot of money using the hotel cars to get you to any location. The hotel cars into the center of Santiago run about $12 US a cab (if youcan find one on the street... more

I found this hotel to be dated, it looks like 1984. The W will be a great addition to Santiago. A hotel of this caliber it should have a private gratis car service to take you area restaurants instead they have an expensive car service with cars not much nicer than local taxi’s. The concierge service was mediocre: on two... more
