You cannot beat the location of this hotel. You are right next to some of the best restaurants and pubs and there are so many to choose from. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional. Shout out to Jose and Walter, the doormen. They were so helpful in recommending places to go and places to eat. The rooms are a... more

This was my second time in two years at this hotel. The staff is very professional and the rooms were good. We got a special deal on the rooms, so the pricing was pretty reasonable. Overall I would stay here again. more

Stayed in the Intercontinental of Santiago for three nights during Feb -09. This was my second stay (last one was in Dec -06). We got in early from Paris (10:30) and early check-in was no problem. In fact, front staff were very professional and rapid at all times. Breakfast (1st floor) was good. Would have appreciated coffees and teas for... more

We stayed at The InterContinental in Santiago, Chile for 8 nights. The Concierge, was so very helpful in arranging a couple ... of our side trips. The staff is so eager to be of assistance. The only downside for me was that it was a soft bed. Other than that, everything worked fine. The Bice Restaurant, which has locations around... more

This InterConti is not the best standard. The shower had some mold but was clean. Breakfast was poor. I forgott my perfume in the hotel but never got a reply on my written requests to the hotel. This was very strange as I would expect some more customer driven action. WIFI costs 18USD per hour!!!! I the whole contry this... more

The rooms were very nice and the hotel is situated in a good location close to lots of embassies. A pleasant area to wander around. The down side were the additional costs in the hotel - not least the US$18 per hour for wireless internet access. Is that a world record? Even the satallite connection in Antarctica was cheaper! In... more

On my last stay I was hopeful that they would improve their service. I was wrong. The front desk are non responsive to hotel guest needs. I ALWAYS book NON-SMOKING and king size bed. My flights from the US always arrive in the morning and thus I arrive at the hotel at about 9:30 to 10:00 AM and the hotel... more
