My husband and I enjoyed our two nights here. Although small, the rooms were nicely appointed and the staff were friendly, helpful, and polite. I particularly liked the neighborhood. Within two blocks of the hotel were a dozen restaurants, all teeming with customers. I felt very safe walking around late at night.

The hotel is in a residence built in 1927. As it was not built as a hotel, it provides a unique experience complete with squeaky floorboards. There is a restaurant on the second floor which opens onto a patio with stairs leading to the courtyard pool. Realistically the pool can only be accessed through the dining and patio area so... We spent 2 nights here to get over jet lag from our flight from Australia in early April. We had a suite room (room #5), at the front of the hotel and our deal included breakfast and afternoon tea. The room & bathroom was beautifully furnished and spacious. The room had large windows looking out on to the street. The... More

We stayed here on two occasions, one night before our excursions to Atacama and Easter Island and three nights afterwards. On the first stay, we had an early checkin, arriving mid morning. The person at the desk at the time was not very friendly, nor very helpful. He opened the room door for us, but failed to give us a... More

We stayed here on 2 occasions with a trip to Mendoza in between and had 2 different room types which didn't really match the descriptions. With names like "Junior suite" and "superior" we struggled to see much difference and in fact to know which was which. Both rooms were quite small with small bathrooms. One had an outdoor patio that... More

The hotel is well situated with a good selection of restaurants nearby. Our room was at the top and overloking the pool and was spacious clean and well furnished - so excellent. They serve a free "once" which is elevenses but at tea time with lovely cakes etc and breakfast is good though not a massive buffet. Staff very helpful... More

Tucked away off Lastarria, boutique hotel, getting a bit scruffy, noisy squeaky floor boards keep you awake at night and thin walls so you can hear everything. Simple breakfast room that doubles as a lounge overlooking a tiny garden and virtually unusable pool. Fair breakfast with little choice and you wouldn't eat there other than at morning time. Good location... More

We spent a few nights at this hotel in February 2015. It is truly a hidden gem, great location near the subway and within walking distance of many attractions. The hotel and rooms are all spotless and tastefully decorated. There is also a lovely shaded patio and pool in the rear. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly and... More

Hotel Lastarria is very good. Maybe the room is a bit too full, but it is nice. The location in Lastarria is very good and near the Citycentre and also quite near Bellavista. It is very quiet. The restaurant is goof for breakfast, lunch and tea, but not so special for dinner. But there are lots of good restaurants nearby.
