Location is approx. 30 min walk to bus station in one direction & the centre of town in the other. We had a double room which was clean & comfortable. The bathroom was clean & well equipped. This is a quiet hostel so the sleep quality is good. The kitchen is quite adequate & an average breakfast is provided. There... More

Staff is characterized by the attention they treat the guests. There are warm and big rooms and comfortable beds. The location is not perfect, far from the best nightlife neighboorhoods, but it's very close to the subyway and the bus terminal to the airport.

The location isn't that great, a bit far from the center and area seems a little dodgey although it is very close to the subway if you want to use it. The rooms are nice with wifi and big comfy beds. Hot showers although probably could do with a few more bathrooms. Breakfast is average and the staff aren't particularly... More

Very good hostel. Not to close to the centre but the area is nice and taxis are cheap (metro also). Clean, spacious rooms with big lockers and beds are made everyday. Breakfast isn't great. Cafe next to it is nice and guest get 20% discount. There is a lot of information available and the staff is nice. Low on bathrooms... More

I only stayed here for one night while in Santiago. The location was nice and it was easy enough to get to get to the subway or local buses. They have decent staff and a nice restaurant downstairs. Free breakfast as well. Located in a quaint part of the city - very beautiful streets.

Never book a 6 dorm in this hostel! The room is next to the dining/breakfast room, so it is very noisy! One of the boys working in the hostel shouts every night from the reception to the people in the kitchen and even with earplugs i could understand everything they were saying.. The staff isn't friendly at all and they... More

This hostel has got it's good and bad points. Good: I liked the location. In a quiet street but close to bars and restaurants in the brasil area. Close to the subway. And walkable to the centre of santiago. The beds were great, good mattress and big (in the dorms). We paid 7000 pesos, good price I think. Showers were... More

Summary: WiFi in all rooms. Get in early if you're after fruit for breakfast. Courtyard noise can travel to rooms. One of the dorms doesn't have any windows (second floor by memory). Staff are/ were awesome (Jan 14). Big beds. Bar being build whilst we were there. Happy stayers - we stayed about a week.

It was a one night staying before catching a flight to Punta Arenas and I really liked my short stay there ! Nice and smiling staff member, rooms clean and quiet street (appreciated after 20 hours of flight). The style of this hostel is charming (very typical), really what I was looking for !

Having stayed in Don Santiago the first time in Santiago, I thought I would try another hostel this time around so gave Landay a try. The reviews all looked good and its easy to see why. The place looks pretty new and is in a beautiful building with big spacious rooms. The bunks are huge and very comfy (although I... More
