Very unique building with social roof, room and kitchen on top floor. Has a great view of the city. The bathrooms are very nice and rooms are spacious. Only down is no AC in rooms and no bar. Other than that perfect location to explore the city

We really enjoyed our 3 nights here. Location is great and easy to find (Metro - Banquedo). There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Great communal space upstairs with computers, fab outdoor terrace, and a decent breakfast. Attempts to cook were hindered by a lack of basic amenities including salt and oil etc. The double room had... More

Easy access to hostel from Metro, good location near fab food places. Bilingual staff. Outstanding top floor to sit outside and stargaze or just hang out and read. Internet computers and wifi avail on 3rd floor no charge.. Street level noise goes on all night forcing you to keep windows closed. That would be ok save that they have no... More

We gave this hostel 3 stars because we feel it was slightly overpriced for a double ensuite room. The hostel itself was clean and tidy with a modern theme throughout. The breakfast was great and so were the kitchen facilities. However, the room lacked in some areas: 1 plug socket for the whole room, no air con and a shower... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your comments. Our water heating system had recently been maintained, as you mentioned, the temperature was a bit high and we have taken care of it, I appreciate you letting me know. Regarding the power outlets, there are two, but may be behind the bed. I will make sure they are more available and easily... More

Stayed at H Rado for one night in Santiago in November 2015. I had a private double room with ensuite, shared with my girlfriend. The hostel is clean and modern, more like a budget hotel. Our room was very clean with a modern ensuite, TV, and in-room safe. There is a very large common area on the top floor with... More

Pros: Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, clean sheets, towels are provided, information is given when asking, nice area, and breakfast is pretty decent. The common area is great, you can cook your stuff and there is a lovely terrace. Cons: This is only for the dorms - really loud even after closing the windows - which meant it got hot since... More

We enjoyed our stay in this hostel - it's central to all the action in Bella Vista (and also handy for Cerro San Cristobal). I liked the security - there was always someone at reception and each room had secure swipe card entry. It was really clean and reception staff were helpful for everything we needed. The nightlife is a... More

H Rado Hostel sometimes feels more like a hotel than a Hostel. Very clean with a great common / dining area on the top floor. The breakfast spread is pretty good and the staff are helpful. Nice location too, since it's close to the bus stands, underground station and within walking distance of a lot. The Hostel is right opposite... More

We stayed at the Rado Hostel for 1 night in November and were generally pleased with the facilities except a few things. Location was in the safe and buzzing neighbourhood of Bellavista. Close to all the bars and restaurant and the private room was clean, although the bathroom was quite small. Super noisy at night time, don't expect to get... More

Dear Guest, Thanks for your review. We will pay attention to the situation mentioned. Some times people sit down before they are sited, and our staff does not realize that they have not been served. Regarding taking care of people that speak Spanish before others, let me inform that about 90% of our guests are not Spanish speakers, so we... More

You need to be aware there is NO LIFT but the desk person assisted with luggage to the third floor. This property is absolutely immaculate and the breakfast is very good. My 'thing' when staying sway from home is the shower and here the water pressure was weak and for this reason I only rated it very good. The location... More
