This is one of our favourite hostels which is saying something after a year of travelling the world. It is a little pricey but you get your money's worth! We stayed here twice during our two weeks in Chile. The dorms are immaculate and very spacious, beds are wide and comfortable and each one ha it's own light and plug... More

As far as hostels go (taking into consideration price, location, cleanliness etc), H Rado is one of the best. Friendly staff, very clean and quite spacious rooms and bathrooms, hot water with nice water pressure. Our room had a little balcony too. We stayed in winter (freezing) but the rooms stayed warm. There is a nice rooftop hangout with a... More

I was very impressed about this hostel. It is cleaned, has a good location (closed to a subway station, good restaurants, shopping area and Neruda's house), with a friendly staff who helps you to arrange any tours in the area ( including wineries where you can taste the amazing Chilean wines). The breakfast is included and is very , very... More

Located in Bella Vista among all the bars, restaurants & clubs - most definitely the place you want to stay. Stayed in a 4 bed (shared bathroom) & 6 bed (private bathroom) dorm. They are large, spacious with large lockers that can even store your entire travelling pack! The beds are large & comfortable. The bathrooms are clean and the showers... More

Stayed here recently and had was very impressed, the hostel was really clean and the breakfast was great. The lockers in the room were massive and so were the beds (for bunks) Only complaint would be the lack of toilets / bathrooms but overall a great place to stay. The included breakfast was really good as was the wifi.

Apart from a nice communal area our rooms (both doubles, with a private and shared bathroom) felt more like hotel rooms with nice decor, good beds and tvs. Place was really clean with a lovely roof terrace. Short walk to the nearby metro and lots of bars/restaurants nearby. Helpful staff on the front desk, but you couldn't get laundry done.... More

This is my first hostel experience, and I absolutely enjoyed it! The hostel is very clean, they clean it daily -- the free daily breakfast is fresh and plenty. Great facilities, the rooftop terrace has a spectacular view of the hill. The only thing that could be improved upon was the community feel - it would be nice to have... More

Unlike many places that were pre-existing establishments remodeled to cater for travelers, H Rado actually looks and feels like it was built to be a hostel, so it has great infrastructure. Ground floor has the 24h reception with friendly and helpful staff; second and third floors have the rooms and shared bathrooms; and the fourth floor has a large common... More

This hostel is more like a boutique hotel than a hostel. Everything was modern and clean. The rooftop terrace was great. The only thing that sucked was that the wifi only worked on the roof. No big deal. It forced everyone in the hostel to interact. The staff was always attentive and answered any questions you may have about the... More

The hostel is clean and in a great, hip location. The only problem is the area the hotel is located in is very loud - think drummers and samba dancers in the street right under your window all night. If you want to party all night this is your place, if you want to sleep choose another.
