Casa Bonita was recommended by a close Chilean friend who travels frequently from Temuco internationally and stays regularly at CB. We took the TransVip airport transfer (shared van) for 12.000CLP. Pablo greeted us very warmly. The architecture is lovely: dark wood, classy decor. The sheets are wonderful and shared bathroom spotless. It's only a couple of blocks from the Alameda... More

We stayed 2 different nights at Casa Bonita. This old but well maintained and centrally located hotel is near the Republica metro stop which allows quick access to the bus terminal and the city. Room 3 was spacious with good wifi but room 5 was very small, hot, and no wifi. Having the right room is important when you book.... More

This is a terrific spot in central Santiago! A beautiful classic colonial building tucked away on a quiet side street in central Santiago. Close to everything but remarkably quite and calm amid the bustle of the city. Spotlessly clean and wonderfully hospitable! The owner (Dennis) is multi-lingual and endlessly helpful and all the staff are gems! We've been traveling through... More

Denis & Monica & staff were great giving excellent tips and being always there to providing support for transfers and other things. The two rooms with private bathrooms are ample and beds are very comfortable. For those that don’t need to stay in modern glass boxes in business districts but still want to be close to the places to go.

Dennis is very helpful and runs a nice little place. Only five rooms, quiet and convenient location. Our room (no.2) is spacious and quiet and looks down onto a nice laneway. Breakfast is simple and tasty fruit, yoghurt, warm rolls cheese and eggs. Very good value and close to the airport.

My husband and I loved this place- beautiful old house with an interesting history in an excellent location (a touch noisy on the bottom floor, but it didn't bother us too much). The owner was super helpful and the staff was more than accommodating. I'd stay there again for sure.

Casa Bonita has an interesting old world feel. The room was very clean, bed comfortable and a little Romeo & Juliet style balcony that I enjoyed. I almost rated it 4 stars because I had a room facing the street and it was quite noisy. What really changed my mind was Monica - the housekeeper. I was waiting for the... More

Great position, excellent service and lovely rooms. It's really close to the Republica metro station and a 15 min walk to constitution square and the historic district. Denis was very helpful pointing us in the best direction for the time we had and the best things for us to take in with sight seeing. Great place to stay.

We were just spending a layover day in Santiago, and needed a place for four of us for one night. We got in at 6 AM, so could not get into our room, but there was tea ready, and eventually we enjoyed a lovely breakfast. We were able to leave our things while we went out for the day. Dennis... Dennis was fantastic, friendly and helpful. The hotel had a guest house feel and was very clean, comfortable and spacious, with an old design. The location was perfect, just 5 minutes walk to the main metro line and buses. Highly recommended.
