We stayed in Casa Bonita for two nights during a South American trip in January. We arrived in later than the normal check in times, and the night porter (who actually seems to work 24 hours!) let us in. There was a little language barrier, which wasn't her fault (our Spanish is relatively non-existent), but we eventually got to our... More

Our hosts were all very accommodating, great service and they all spoke very good English. Breakfast each morning was quite nice, with eggs cooked to order. The pick-up at the airport was smooth as silk. The rooms are not big, but they are comfortable and get the job done. More

We stayed at the Casa Bonita on our first visit to South America (Nov. 2011) and then went on to stay in many similar places. A former Bishop's residence, the Casa Bonita has been restored with good taste and charm. The room was good and the bed very comfortable. We found the manager (Denis) and his staff friendly and very... More

Everything has already been said about this lovely place, but... yes, it is well located, staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is adequate, you can access internet from a PC in the lobby etc. I will definitely stay again when in Santiago! More

Casa Bonita is a beautifully restored house, it's very clean with a good breakfast. Staff weren't the most helpful or forthcoming with information on Santiago or the vicinity. It is close to the metro but too far away from restaurants and attractions for the price. More

This is an excellent B&B - comfortable, squeaky clean, and very centrally located (15 minute walk away from the Chilean Presidential palace, 5 mins walk away from metro Republica). The owners take a huge pride in what they do, and spend time as you check in giving you maps, advice and interesting hints and tips about Santiago. Breakfast is lovely... More

Stayed 5 nights while on a business trip to Santiago. Good value and I would stay there again if I came for a holiday or at the weekend. My room was a reasonable size (not big, but not too small) and well maintained and clean. The hotel is in a pedestrian zone that's used as a short cut to the... More

We spent almost a week in Santiago and stayed at the Soho apartments for the first 5 nights and 1 night at Casa Bonita upon returning from Viña del Mar. We were incredibly impressed by the staff at Casa Bonita (the Dutch owner, Dennis, is incredibly helpful - he assists with breakfast, calling for taxis, carrying luggage to the taxi,... More

My last night in Chile in stayed in this lovely B&B in central Santiago, and I will certainly go back here next time. It is conveniently located close to metro Republica in a lively neighbourhood. The building and rooms are beautiful with original art deco details. Friendly and helpfull staff who gave me excellent advice on the restaurants in the... More

Fantastic place to stay when in Santiago- the owners are incredibly helpful in organizing our stay in Santiago. Very clean and well designed space with huge rooms, lots of light, and a delicious breakfast in the morning. Close to the metro and an easy walk to a great plaza with fantastic restaurants.
