Our family of 4 (two kids ages 11 and 8) stayed in Meridiano's larger loft room on the top floor for 5 days. Overall I liked this place and would recommend it, but I have a few words of caution. The website says the loft has a kitchenette, which we wrongly assumed meant we could cook in it. (Elsewhere, in... more

I was traveling alone and chose the hotel because it was small and family-run. My room, the standard type, was small, but the bed was very comfortable and I was perfectly fine. But the real highlight of the hotel for me was the superb, friendly service. From the reservation to the airport pickup to the help with booking tours to... more

Amazed rather than puzzled may be a better word to use. During our trip to South America last month, my wife and I stayed at 8 hotels and had a generally very positive experience. Meridiano Sur was the low spot for us. Things got off to a bad start because the front was being painted and the inside had just... more

We stayed in the Meridiano Sur 4 nights. The first 2 nights we spent there just after arriving in Chile. It was a great starting point for exploring Santiago – close to metro station (10-15 minutes by foot) and within walking distance to Parque Metropolitano. Our second stay was at the very end of our almost 20 days’ trip around... more

Hello there! There's been some months, since I've stayed at the Meridiano Sur with my father and some coleagues. But I can't forget how wonderful was the stay. The beds were so soft, the attention given was so present and kind, nothing missed!! The breakfast was delicious, home made, we were asked everyday what we wanted for breakfast next day.... more

My toddler daughter and I went to Chile for the skiing. We had a great time in the mountains. On our way back home we stayed in Santiago at Meridiano Sur. We had no idea what a treat we were in for...the staff and innkeeper were so wonderful, warm and beyond accomodating. The breakfast was fresh and filling. Our room... more

After Valparaiso's sense of chaos arriving at Meridiano Sur was a calming experience. The hotel was at full capacity, yet it always seemed calm and the staff always friendly and willing to help with any requests. We were being shown around Santiago by friends of friends, so we were on a different timezone than most of the other guest, but... more

we stayed here for 2 nights after our flight from Australia and it was perfect for recovering from the jet lag as the room was like our own bedroom with lovely decor and very comfortable bed and very clean all over the hotel. Breakfast was sooooo good with fresh fruit (strawberry freshly prepared) juices, homemade cakes and pancakes in abundance!... more
