This place is more than a Hostal. For $18,200 pesos (for a double room) a night you get a lovely clean room, arranged with antique furnitures and good beds. Mentioned in the lonely planet and feel I lucked out. Have been back with my wife prior to moving to Chile to live and work. Sure, the kids traveling through smoke and drink, but they welcomed us as older travelers. Just didn't understand how we elected Bush twice. Neither do we. We didn't. Dear Fellow Travelers, This is one of the worst hostals I have ever stayed in, and definitely the worst I have stayed in while traveling in Latin America.
