We stayed in this hostel for 3 nights and enjoyed it really much. It was really quiet and the staff was friendly. The breakfast every morning with a nice yogurt muesli and fresh bread was a good start in the day. The hostel was also clean and we felt safe.

Very cosy location with awesome and healthy breakfast, a sweet garden and friendly people. It is an about 20 minutes walk to the old centre with its fish market, but a nice one cause it follows the river. The Hostel is just a little expensive, as everywhere in the south.

We stayed there for 3 nights and things were just great. The staff is friendly and speaks multiple languages, including French , English and of course Spanish. They were really relaxed about us not knowing how long we are going to stay there and just kindly asked us to figure it out as soon as possible. Breakfast was not like... More

So first of all I've read many reviews about this hostel and generally it is rated very highly. I have to disagree with this. But first, the POSITIVE: The hostel itself is upon first glance, really cozy, clean, comfortable and generally a nice place to stay, not just to sleep and store your luggage. It is also an eco-hostel which... More

The hostel is in great location, the supermercado is around the corner and you can walk to all the sights. The breakfast is the best ever (yoghurt, musli, fresh juice and really good fresh brewed coffee). The staff is amazing, the owner knows the name of all the guests and knows everyone's stories. The patio is the perfect place to meet... More

Nice, centric Hostel. In the Hostel it's all about sustainability and there are strict Rules to this. Young People from all over the World in a nice and clean House. You can cook There and it has a lovely terrace as well. The attention is Good and the breakfast is very good.

The owner is American so that is very helpful for English speakers. The hostel has a nice cosy living area and a good kitchen to cook in. The bedroom was quite small and dark but ok. Good location close to fish markets, etc.

This is first rate hostel in a great location in Valdivia. Viella speaks perfect english as well as spanish and began helping me with advice about Valdivia when I was in a little jam before I had even booked a room! - she is that kind. You can't miss here...spacious common areas and very clean and spacious all around.

I had a great stay in Valdivia this past weekend. Jessi (who works the day shift) and Viella (the owner) were absolutely lovely. The place is clean, well-maintained and there is a goofy duck named Gardell in the backyard. It is run with a permaculture ethic, so you can compost all your food wastes, etc. I met several funny, friendly... More
