We stay here every time we are in Temuco. So clean, great service, and they always go over and above to meet our needs. My husband is gluten intolerant and with use of the kitchen and the helpful staff it sure makes our stay easier when we just want to eat in. Trust me, this is a good value and... More

Clean room, good breakfast, pleasant staff. I do not speak Spanish and I should living in California. The staff communicate with me and will even use Google translator to make sure to get me information. The walls are thin so if they talk on the phone till midnight you can hear them. Very economical Nov 2013 was less than $85... More

My partner and I traveled almost 40 hours from the States before our end in Temuco. While originally we'd hoped to make it to Pucon or to a different hostel, the airport/indoor grind left us exhausted - luckily we went directly to Hostal Alcala!! The staff are friendly, the building secure, folks encourage you use the kitchen, within walking distance... More

This is a hostal which has a real family atmosphère. The rooms are very comfortable with TV, toilets and a shower. The personnel is also really friendly and makes you feel like you would be in your own house. It's good situated: in a quiet place which isn't too far away from the center, a fitness trail is also available... More

We had an excellent stay in this hotel: quality of service either from employes as well as owners, Mireya and Hugo, was real good. We appreciated the good language of Mireya and the big but successful efforts of Hugo to communicate with us in English. Breakfast were also very enjoyable every morning. General quality of room was also good with... More

Very friendly owners and staff made my 3 weeks stay homelike. The hotel is located in quiet area, which is in the same time near to main city roads. I had a perfect breakfasts and... More

Recently on a trip through Temuco, my partner and I were looking for a nice place to stay for a couple of days. Our Lonely Planet guide failed us (the hostel seemed to be only a restaurant) but luckily on turning a corner we found this welcoming place. The owners are both lovely and very helpful in making your stay... More
