I’m not convinced about Margouya. On paper, it’s a perfectly reasonable place to stay – it just lacks a little athmosphere.
The building itself is an old school, and it doesn’t look like much has been done to it since then. This is actually quite nice, as you can see all the original features. The disadvantage is that everything creaks....

Anything you could want would be in this kitchen. Free spices, tuppaware, plastic bags, juicer, blender. Allsorts. The beds were comfy. This place was really nice, good kitchen, nice common room, decent bikes for rent. The owner/manager and his family are great. Decent showers and nice neighbourhood.

We spent Christmas here and it was really special. The people who run the hostel are all genuinely nice people and we felt at home here.
