2 relaxing days in that quiet and beautifull place. Jim and Irina gave us support in many ways, which was extremely helpfull because Air France lost my luggage. We had a very pleasent stay. Thanks again.

I was picked up from the bus station and fom there on I was in excellent hands.Very clean and comfortable rooms, breakfasts good and plenty. Jim and Irina are excellent hosts.Jim lent me his fishing gear and took me to a river.I don't find this sort of hospitality very often. I highly recommend this place.

my 1-night only (regrettably) stay at Fox Hill was a very enjoyable experience. The house is beautiful and completely peaceful, as there is neither traffic nor neighbors nearby. Jim and Irina are most hospitable...I also got one of Jim's hand-drawn maps to several scenic spots which filled my next day perfectly.. My guest room , bed, and bathroom were very... More

Jim and Irina are the nicest people. They were patient in introducing the area to us and things to do, which turned out to be excellent advice. They even woke up early to prepare breakfast and be around when we had an early flight to catch. A four-wheel drive might do better on the 2km of unpaved road leading to... More

Jim and Irina are delightful hosts. This difficult to find B & B got us in very late and Irina whipped up a pasta dinner for us along with wine. Jim took us thru private land to a TH to climb one of the volcanoes. We were able to wash clothes in the machine. We would have preferred a more... More

Thank you for mentioning my hand drawn map. I enjoy helping our guests to experience all the wonderful attractions in our area. So far I haven’t discovered a comprehensive map of the region with restaurants and the ‘must see’ places. I could have simply handed you a bunch of brochures to read, but I think learning what you like to... More

We reached Fox Hill after a long drive and were welcomed by Jim and Irina like old friends. Tea and scones were quickly produced and we were shown to a charming room with furniture hand made by Jim in native woods. This kindness and generosity continued throughout our stay with advice on where to eat (try the Cafe Belleview with... More

Fox Hill B&B was a delight of our trip to Los Lagos. Our room was cozy and clean and had window screens. Because our trip occurred during the tabano (big noisy flies) season, sleeping with an open window could have been a nightmare. We asked Irina to cook our suppers. I am not a meat eater, so fresh salads made... More

We stayed at Fox Hill for 3 nights and it was quiet comfortable. Our room #2 was very spacious with a breathtaking view of volcanoes and lake. Our bathroom was very beautiful with soft green towels. If you want to rest in a quiet environment Fox Hill B&B is a perfect place for it. To our surprise we slept much... More

We stayed at Fox Hill just before Christmas, in "Puerto Varas." (5 adults, two rooms). We were greatly looking forward to a calm reprieve while on a nearly three week tour of Chile and Argentina. Much to our surprise, the three night stay here was anything but a reprieve. As this property has been given high reviews, I will give... More

At Fox Hill Chile we welcome guests who understand the ‘bed and breakfast’ concept and do not try to give us an extra work without providing any compensation. Our house rules, location and area activities are clearly stated on our web page. Should our guest take a few minutes to read the information we provide, this mutual disappointment would have...
