Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Antumalal. Comfortable rooms with spectacular views across the lake, beautiful gardens down to lakeshore and a great spa area. We ate at the restaurant every night and the food was great. The hotel also has cars available for rent, which is really convenient and probably necessary to get the most out of the area.....and... Great place for an intimate time with your loved one. Leo takes care of everyone with personal service and he makes the best Pisco sours in Chile. If it's good enough for Queen Elizibeth, it's good enough for us. We had our honeymoon their in 2001 and have returned to relive the wonderful time we had.

We just returned from a three night stay (mid March) at this family owned hotel. It was built in 1950 and the decor and furnishings have been retained though all is certainly modern. The setting is beautiful high above one of the lakes in the Chilean Lakes District and Pucon is a small but sophisticated town. We highly recommend it.... More

Thank you for your kind words. The views here are charming we agree, as well as that special touch of having decor and furnishing that breathe originality, but have been modernised to match the needs of today's client. We are happy you have great memories of your stay and look forward to welcoming you back here again sometime in the... More

I have stayed at this very special, family owned small hotel at least eight times and have brought friends from all parts of the USA and all have loved every stay. Antumulal is unique with gorgeous gardens and a wonderful lake with great views from every room....With a picture perfect 9000' + snow covered volcano behind. Frank Lloyd Wright style... More

We found this gem by accident and what a win!. The staff was excellent throughout our stay. The rooms are very comfortable, trendy and with cosy fireplaces as we were there in October. The restaurant served delicious food. The gardens and grounds are amazing and well kept, overlooking the beautiful Villarica lake. Amazing swimming pool, library, bar ...... The owner... More

My new husband and I stayed at the hotel antumalal on our honeymoon in chile at the end of February) We were there for 4 nights, and it was the most exquisite experience of our two weeks in chile. The Antumalal is an old-style luxury hotel with 10 or 12 rooms in total. I had read about it and decided to splurge for a couple of nights in December, 2012. The rooms are all the same, I think, and all lined up in a single horizontal arc. All have "heaven must be like this" views, with (yes!) small bathrooms... More

We had been in Chile a week when we found this hidden gem. Being an architect and interior designer, we loved this beautifully designed hotel that took advantage of the stunning views. All of the rooms face the lake (west), which can make the rooms hot unless you keep the drapes closed. But after the hottest part of the day,... More

We stayed in this hotel last month based on the trip advisor reviews. We were extremely disappointed.
