Bambu Lodge is a wonderfull place a little bit outside of Pucon at the foot of the volcano Villarica. Is is a very quiet and relaxing hide away and with a car easily accesable. There is parking next to the beautiful house. The part of the house for the guests is separate but still connected to the main house. You... More

Things could not get any better for a hostel of this category. The place is beautifully designed, well maintained and immaculately clean. The owners Beatriz and Guillaume are lovable people and run the place with great commitment and attention to detail. Among them they speak (at least) Spanish, French, English and German. Guillaume made some great recommendations and was very... More

We stayed at the Bambu Lodge for 3 nights (the 18Sep long weekend). It was our first visit to Pucon and we were looking for a calm/quiter place to stay, where to rest/recover after trekking etc. And the Bambu Lodge was a true finding, it made our visit to Pucon very special. The house is ca 4 km out from... More

For quite some time my girlfriend and I wanted to visit the south of Chile and Pucón always was the number 1 destination to start ... the problem ... the excessive cost of accommodations. Through TripAdvisor I managed to contact Guillaume who very kindly indicated the availability of his hotel. The agreement made several months before my visit was perfectly... More

We had a great stay in Pucon, and a lot of that was because Guillermo at the Bamboo lodge was such a great host. He set the room up for us and our two kids, and then gave us great advice on where to go and what to do. We did the crater hike on the volcano one day (the... More

After traveling throughout Chile for a few days this was the perfect haven; it was clean, cozy, had hot water, and Guillaume spoke 4 languages which helped since we speak very little Spanish. We spent 2 nights at the Bambu Lodge at the end of December (we wished we would have extended our stay). The Lodge is conveniently located therefore;... More

I stayed at the Bambu Lodge for a week and it was a real pleasure. Guillaume, Beatrice and Gaspard all make you feel that you are at home. The setting is lovely, quiet and secluded. You stay at this lodge because you want the B&B experience - so don't expect a TV or nightlife. You will need a car to... More

Great setting, good view, and an excellent host! Knowledgeable and helpful. And probably the cleanest place in chile. (7 minute drive out of town.) would definitely go back again and recommend it to anybody who has his own weels (or 5 luca for a cab drive).

All the positive reviews of Bambu are right on. The location is lovely, the accommodations are so comfortable, views are gorgeous (especially from the 2nd fl rooms), and the hosts have unlimited time and patience to assist their guests. Stay here for peace, beauty, delicious breakfast, comfort, and great company. Merci, Guillaume, Beatriz, and Gaspard.

Stayed at Bambu for 4 nights (December, 2013) --- I cannot say enough great things about the hostel and Guillaume (the owner). The setting is serene and peaceful with a view of volcan Villarica and Villarica lake (depending on which side of the house you are located); Guillaume spent much time giving us suggestions on places to day hike and...
