The pousada Praia das Ondas is designed to make you feel right at home from the moment you step foot on the lawn. Don't expect any entertainment or activities - the place is very quiet and tranquil. Bring your book and lie down. You come here to relax and that is the only thing you can do.

The cottages are all painted in bright colours which makes it look very friendly and cosy. The rooms are basic but clean. The cottages are centered around a small central area with a volleyball field, a small pool with a terrace, a garden, the restaurant and a sun terrace with a few deck chairs. It's all nice, clean and friendly looking. Oh, and there's free wi-fi.

The restaurant is okay - a small menu with a few local and a few international dishes. The food tastes wonderful though and the price is right. The staff is friendly and Maria will go out of her way to arrange for whatever you need.
