This hotel has the distinction of being the one that has the tiniest room I've ever stayed. There wasn't even a proper wardrobe to hang my clothes. The hotel is in very good condition, and the proximity to the Tiong Bahru food court makes it a superbly terrific place to experience the charm of a neighborhood with lots of art-deco... More

The Link Hotel had every mod rooms that did the job, nice to come back to at the end of the day even tho they weren’t hugh rooms. The staff were all very friendly and happy to cater for your needs, I only ate breakfast and although it wasn’t a large amount to chose from there was still enough.

Have paid premium price for such location. And now a days with an Ipad and no wifi in the room, need to walk to the lobby. Very inconvenient especially for people like us who may need to work through the night. Will not come back again.

Mainly stayed there for a family function so didn't get to take photo of the hotel room. The hotel is conveniently located within 10 minutes walk from the subway station, only one stop from Chinatown, there is a hawker plaza nearby (5 minutes walk tops) with huge variety of food options at very cheap prices. The hotel itself is of... More

The good: 1. Conveniently located opposite a bus station and 10 minutes walk from Outram Tram station - as Singapore is a fairly small place, being near a bus stop and tram stop is a big plus. 2. Toiletries provided are good - the shampoo and shower gel smells good unlike other cheap hotels The bad: 1. The hotel does... More

Cheap by Singapore standards. Small but nice and very clean rooms. Location pretty good, about a 10 minute walk from the Outram Park metro stop. Breakfast is very good. Liked it so much we booked another night-completely blowing our backpacker's budget, but very much worth it.

Location: Super convenient. It's only 5-7 minutes walk to Outram Park MRT Station. Very near to the City. Nearest shopping mall: Tiong Bahru Plaza. If you are planning to head down to Suntec City, Shenton Way or the MRT station, you can always catch their complimentary shuttle service. If not, hailing for a taxi is easy too. During my stay... I stayed three nights in this hotel. On the first night, I was brushing teeth while my husband was bathing. Suddenly, a very bad smell came out. I thought it was my husband who has passed a very smelly flatus. But then, I realized the bad smell was from the toilet. I immediately close the toilet with it lid but... More

Nice place with a good all round cosy environment. Service of staff is good, location is accessible to good food and not far out from the shopping.

Staying in Tiong Bahru

Neighborhood Profile
Tiong Bahru
Home to both local families and transient expats, Tiong Bahru is a fascinating mix of tradition and youthful creativity. Its status as a conservation area ensures that this little hub has charm and heritage on display at every corner, while the 1930s art deco architecture provides a glimpse of days gone by. Stock up on fresh tropical fruits at the wet market, browse high quality literature and children’s books, shop for interesting gifts and local fashion, or munch on bargain-priced hawker food as the aroma of frying noodles and fresh-brewed coffee wafts through the air. Cap your day with a massage and a latte, a glass of wine, or a pain au chocolat from one of the many busy bakeries. An afternoon in this vibrant and beautiful neighborhood is not to be missed.
