Stayed for 4 nights, hotel has good location and within walking distance from Raffles centre, restos, easy to find food nearby or money changer. Pool is very nice and large. Std Rooms are small and bathrooms quite squeezy. Breakfast buffet was average, same food everyday without real variety. Need to take lift to go from GF Lobby to Reception. Check... More

This hotel was in a great location, within walking distance to most attractions (if you are a keen walker). Well priced for Singapore, it also boasted an impressive view of the Marina Bay Sand nightly light show from the Sky Bar - highly recommended to visit during happy hour.

Good location for this hotel, walking distance 7 mins to Clark Quay for night life, good eatery's around the hotel across the road down the elevator a great Chinese rest! Arrived with 3 friends from the Camden garden club. Only one initial hiccup! Booking in was a hassle, arrived 11pm Singapore time; took the guy 30 mins, we asked what... More

This hotel is solid, essentially. We stayed at the start of a 5 week trip around Asia. Rooms were perfectly adequate, staff were very good. Beds a little hard but this seems to be an Asian preference as we found this in many of the places we stayed (and our group spread out and caught up at various stages). The... More

We have stayed here twice before and chose it again due to its great location near the river. Hotels in Singapore are expensive, so price was a big factor. We were in a deluxe twin room which was spacious but a bit tired/dated and in need of renovation. The a/c was very cold and couldn't be turned off - reception... More

I found the staff very unhelpful during my stay of 4 days.My husband had to go to the hospital on landing in Singapore and I phoned to say I would be late checking in.When I finally got to the hotel I was told I was upgraded to another room but it was a smokers room but was told it would... More

Fairly good location with lots of shops and eateries around. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was quite good. On the down side I think the beds were made in Fred Flinstones day, hard as a rock. My son's bed was the same in his room and speaking to other people in the elevator they felt the same.... More

Booked at the last minute on a great deal with Agoda. Suspect not the best room as a result. Great location 2 minutes from City Hall MRT, 5 minutes walk from Clarke Quay or Boat Quay. The hotel feels old. The lifts are idiosyncratic. Even in the room there is no free bottled water (S$5 out of the minibar). The... More

I could not have chosen a better placed hotel for my three day visit to Singapore which came as part of the package from Singapore airways. The hotel is within a short walk of the open top tourist bus stop, so it is easy to hop on and hop off the bus. The route is circular and includes all the... More
