Stayed for one night in June. The hotel room was very small, but clean & comfortable & met our expectations. We loved the building, pretty window frames. Staff were wonderful, there was free breakfast but we didn't eat. Great area in Chinatown. Next door to an Indian temple. Beds comfy, shower had good pressure. Would stay again for a short... More

We stayed 4 nights here and our room was pretty small but very modern and clean which made up for it. It had Tv and mini fridge which was good. Bathroom clean with fresh towels every day. Breakfast was basic with cereals, milk, white toast, spreads and boiled or scrambled eggs but it was free so can't complain really. Best... More

Clean, comfortable, close to China town. Located in an old Singapore style building. Renovated to modern inside, rather than retaining the old world character. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was basic but ok. Good eatng houses just nearby or short walk to Chinatown Eat Street and markets. No issue with this hotel as a short stay.

One must remember this is a budget hotel, not a 4 or 5 star hotel. Don't expect a pool etc and all the trimmimngs that come with an Asian 4/5 star hotel, this is Singapore, an expensive city. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean with fresh sheets and towels daily ( not the highest... More

Hard to swing a cat in the rooms but all very clean and renovated. Price is very reasonable and they do supply a reasonable breakfast free which is sausages and beans plus toast, some cereals and coffee and tea but the rooms are a little claustrophobic. I have a double room and my son a single. There is no closet... More

We booked here because of good reviews and location close to food venues and transport. When we arrived really early from our flight the staff were able to accommodate us in another room for a shower and sleep until our room was ready. This was greatly appreciated I can tell you. Both rooms had recently renovated bathrooms and were extremely... More

Customer service is good, good location But room/washroom is extremely tiny, it is okay just for one night stay Can skip breakfast totally, boiled eggs are cooked by microwave and it is half done If really need to stay in this hotel, suggest to book at their website directly, rate is the best

this hotel is on the cheaper side of singapore. it's a basic room, mine had no window, with a bathroom and shower in the same room. there is AC as well. breakfast is basic but satisfying. Singapore is all about food so it's not a bad start of the day. Closest MRT stop is Outram Park, exit H. bring a... More

We stayed for 5 nights with our toddler. The room was big enough and had everything we needed. We asked in advance for a room with windows, which was no problem. The location is fantastic. It's only a few minutes to walk to the next mrt station and Chinatown food street is just a minute away. The staff was nice and... More

I was stayed there for 4 days 3 nights, because the hotel is around Chinatown and pretty easy access to MRT. The reception very helpfull and friendly. You have to put deposit upon check in and they will return upon check out. A lot of guests stayed there and I didn't get any seat for bfast. But the room having... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
