I think this was our 6th Singapore Stopover and we've always stayed at Hotel Royal on Queen's Street. It is what it is, with no real flair or faults and the prices as offered through the Stopover plan are just fine. Transfers to and from the airport are included too. The rooms are nice, mostly practical, not 5 star but... More

I thought for the price paid this hotel was very shabby and worn. Our bathroom had a soap dish in the shower that was absolutely disgusting and all the grouting on the tiles was dirty and mouldy. The breakfast had a good variety but when we went down at 9 am all the food was nearly cold. Also staff chopping... More

You cannot say how much of the service they offer you could relate in money ...well yes for them customer service and guest comfort is priority. From the time we checked in we were greeted by Mr George Lim , his smile does take away the tiredness from a long journey and having traveled with elderly people. The check-in was smooth and... This was a one night stopover booked through the Singapore Airlines website, for a very reasonable price, including airport transfers. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and quite large. Bathroom had been recently renovated and the bed was huge. It's close to MRT stations, and walking distance from Orchard Road shops. Restaurant food is... More

Booked this as part of a Singapore Airlines stopover holiday and picked this hotel for it's location. The location is great, a short stroll to either Bugis or Bras Basah MRT stations (although Bugis is easier to get you to other places) and there's plenty of shops and food options around. The hotel is clean and tidy, nothing particularly special.... More

We stayed at this hotel by booking through Singapore Airline holiday deals. It was adequate - bedroom was small but had everything that we required including an iron & board. There is a swimming pool but small - towels provided which was a bonus. We did not use the dining facilities but there was a 50% discount for travellers on... More

Rooms were large, with large size TV and Bed, good lighting options and very nice bathroom. As an Indian, we found very few options in breakfast and depended mostly on Eggs. There was also no major change in menu during our three days stay. Locations is good as its just next to a MRT station. However if you are in... More

The room doesn't strike you as trendy and modern, lots of dark wood, but the bathroom and lighting were more modern feeling and it was large and comfortable with all required facilities. Fridge, safe, and tea and coffee (poor quality) in the room. Very comfortable bed and not much noise around the hotel, so good sleep quality. A very good... More

If you want to see a country then stay away from the usual Euro/American tourist fodder. This little hotel was just fine unlike the usual massive tourist hotels in Singapore and a lot cheaper too. Found on Booking.com last year at a decent price including a breakfast. Mainly chinese as staff and consequently many chinese guests which is no bad... More

Booked this hotel with the Singapore Air package for a 2-day precruise stay in Singapore. It started on a sore point. The lady manning the SSH kiosk where I was directed to get information about the hotel transfer was very rude, impressing me that I was taking her precious time away from listening to whatever was barking in her ear!...
