My second time staying here, I thought there will be some improvement after my first stay but it's getting worst. The room is so dusty.Furthermore, the iron and the board is terrible condition. The only part, I receive good customer service from Mr.Fazri. The receptionist staff need to be more customer service oriented. Hope for improvement !

Although the rooms are basic the staff make up for this. The staff have been so helpful, even to the point of printing an important document that I urgently needed at no charge. They are all very polite and smiling and make you feel so welcome. Highly recommend.

Reception staff (not all) is not friendly enough. I see they smile hardly specially David NG (Name on his badge) as I can remember. They just do their job - may be a way of life in Singapore. No one to carry lauggaes to your room - you have to bring them on your own. One girl at reception is... More

I will recommend this hotel for people who are looking for budget hotel. The hotel is near to bugis street (walking distance, about 10 mins), where you can find a lot of food court and market at there. You can also take a bus at the bus stop just right outside of the hotel. There is a 7-11 nearby of... More

Pros. 1.Value for money. At SGD 99 per night, the pricing was much better than any other place we looked at. 2.The facility is clean and well maintained. 3.Ac/ hot water/ basic toiletries/ hair dryer/ free wifi was available. No iron box. 4.The staff is really helpful. We reached a few hours before the check-in time, but they readily gave... More

I stayed in Dickson 81 for two nights with my wife and 2 years old baby. Hotel is located in Little India aprox. 10 minutes walk (15 with a backpack) from Bugis MTR. Our room was rather small and had basic equipment but was clean. AC was working pretty good. There's nothing I could complain it was all I expected... More

Placewise very near to little india. Sim lim tower bus stop only 100 feet away. Rooms were quiet. The ac was very cold and difficult to control. This facility does not allow early checkin like the obe in gaylong.Overall the three nights stay was very comfortable

Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
