I stayed at the hotel overnight in terminal 2. The room is clean and confortable. It is good for transit passenger because one gets a good night sleep. The shower is hot and good and would recommend to those passengers in transit

I chose this hotel as an alternative to Ambassador Hotel at the Singapore Airport. We heard that due to the constraction site, the other hotel can be noisy, so wanted a hotel not far from the airport, just to sleep through the night. The location was not bad, walking distance to the metro and bus stop, so this was convienient,... More

Have stayed at this hotel twice upon my travel to Singapore. Considering its Singapore the price is the lowest once you start looking for decent hotels to stay in. However the rooms are quite nice and spacious for its price. Location is also good considering you can walk out of the hotel and find a 24 hours store next door... More

Booked this hotel following review from another site whereby someone had stayed for 17 nights. They must have been mad !!! We arrived late at this Hotel with a terrible review from the taxi driver. Had it not been so late at night I would not have stayed. Dirty everywhere - lift, carpets, room. Furniture old and full of cigarette... More

One thing people have to keep in mind with this hotel is that it's definitely a budget hotel, and as with all aspects of life, you get what you pay for. Pro's: * Very cheap. * Location was fine but not perfect. * Surprisingly big rooms, considering it's a budget hotel. * The beds were adequate and we both slept... More

I don't recommend this hotel. The Staff were unhelpful, the room was dirty, we have a 1 yr old but he still decided to move us to a different room since he said that we are not allowed to the room that we booked because there are four of us which includes our 1 yr old and 12 yr old.... More

I stayed at this hotel as my husband booked me in while I was travelling to Asia. The room was dirty with the toilet soiled. The fresh towels smelt like chemicals and when I opened the wardrobe there was a soiled towel hanging there. The sheets were full of hairs as were the blankets and the bed side lamp was... More

Staying in Joo Chiat

Neighborhood Profile
Joo Chiat
The Joo Chiat area is the traditional home of Peranakan culture in Singapore, an ethnic group descending from the blending of Chinese and Malay families in the 15th century. The neighborhood is packed with colorful shops, local characters, and quiet charm. The main streets overflow with diners enjoying katong laksa, the signature Peranakan spicy noodle soup. Signs of youthful entrepreneurship are visible as well, with modern cafes, bars, and shops abounding. Visit Joo Chiat to take a break from the big city sights and enjoy a relaxing afternoon with a laid-back and local vibe.
