Requested for a double/queen size bed thru online booking but still gave me 2 single beds (defeated the purpose of reservation -the hotel should coordinate with the web server which is which is still available or not to meet the customer's expectations) Dirty walls. No slippers are provided. Sheets are clean. Everything else are acceptable.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. This hotel was clean but the AC wasn't functioning well. This hotel does not provide breakfast option. I found it expensive comparatively . The location is Dunlop Street and in Little india. All the things you want you can get it nearby itself.

The rooms are so small you don't even have space to put your luggage or move around properly. My feet touched the wall of the room when laying down on the bed. (And I'm 5ft 2) It felt like a prison cell. It also had no windows. The air conditioner looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. There was... More

Guys, We had a terrible experience with this hotel, rooms are very small & you cant even move your luggage, this thing is still manageable they have put us in basement where there was signal, very dark n suffocated rooms. We came here for some business purpose but we had a pathetic experience, we prefer to stay outside & only... More

I stayed here 9-11 april with my hubby & 3yo son in a super small twin beds room. TV channels only Indian movie. Free wifi is good enough for browsing & chatting. No free breakfast like it stated here in TA. We stayed here because our friends also stayed here together. I just believed in them to make a reservation... More

Okay. First things first. Singapore is an expensive city. It's beautiful, it's clean, it's expensive. Most hotels cost between $175-$350 a night. The Sandpiper is much cheaper and there are reasons why. Duh. No restaurant: They can't have breakfast included if they don't have a restaurant. Get out and visit the dozens of restaurants around the hotel. Room size: It... More

Hotel is located in close proximity to city. Small but clean good on that price. Staff shortage not available all the time Breakfast was not due to no restaurant facilities. Overall good family happy. Receptionist vikas was very cordial.

A box room in the basement; a room that just about holds the bed; what else do you expect at this price? The TV works. The bed is comfortable. I had to stay a second night and change to a twin room. The cost of not booking online is double the cost booking through the internet. I found the internet... More

My daughter and I stayed in the hotel for two nights. The room is small but very good for the price. Everything worked well and internet connectivity was good. The hotel is located between two MRT stations on different lines. This made it very convenient for quick travels to different locations in Singapore.

I had checked in on the 28th of March 2015, making a request for a double bed. However, twin beds were given and when asked if we could change, the reception didn't even check and or made an effort to. He just said straightly that the booking states that it was subjective to availability. He also said that he will... More

Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
