Very standard hotel but by comparing the price of hotel prices in Singapore we have to think the logic is reasonable hotel located in the area of prostitution for a man who was alone and did not want to get involved with the suggestion I should not be too late when you are around the hote

I read that it was an average budget hotel... Believe me i went to better "average budget hotel": this hotel is old, you can hear everything from all the rooms around (and since they have prostitute in the neighborhood you can imagine), the TV was not working, no breakfast... I would not say is the worst hotel, since the location... More

This hotel is super super super small and the staff are selfish and stubborn . This hotel is misleading and false advertising ! The hotel room air conditioner is the worst of the worst . Overall for a budget hotel, you better off sleeping outside at a park .

It’s OK for a typical budget hotel. Nothing fancy or outstanding. Some guests were quite noisy and inconsiderate slamming their doors and talking loudly into the night with their doors opened. Near food and transport areas.

The staffs are friendly. The room is quite small, but It is still okay. They clean the room everyday, if u asked. they give toiletries, such as comb, 2 tooth brushes, soap, shower cap and 2 towels. I got room in 7th level, but the wifi signal is good. the air con worked well. private bathroom and toilet, also clean.... More

I would say Hotel81 Orchid is a practical choice. Very close to excellent food restaurants from morning to sun-down. I even had an excellent frog and a rice porrige. Shops are just around the corner and just a few train stop to down-town.

This is an Average Budget Hotel, suitable for solo travelers. The location of hotel is nearby metro station Kallang which is at walkable distance approx. 10 min. Singapore city is well connected by metro, thus all major tourist attractions are easily accessible. Hotel does not have restaurant in the premises but there are many eateries in the locality. The Hotel... More

Small econolodge usually used for overnight stay for crew arriving into Singapore for Crewing department visit and visa application. No restorant available, but small local coffeeshops, restorants nearby and very cheap. MRT station Kallang 10-15min walk. Money changer very close but exchage rate lower then @ airport. For the crew team 6-12prsns big taxi van can be ordered through the... More

There is nothing which stands out for this hotel (+ve or -ve) apart from its price point. Granted its near the local red light area and if you roam around post evening you will see the ladies in the street, but we were in singapore for 5 days and it didn't bother us at all as the area is still very... Staying in Geylang

Neighborhood Profile
Geylang
Only a short journey from Singapore’s sparkling and polished city center, Geylang is a world away. Here in one of the least touristy areas of Singapore, visitors are privy to an unfiltered glimpse of Singapore life. On Sunday afternoons, migrant workers gather in Geylang to let off steam after a tough week. At the eastern end of Geylang Road, families and friends happily enjoy picnics. By contrast, at the western end, a more colorful side of Singapore can be seen, as street workers mingle with Sunday revelers in outdoor coffee shops. Take a friend, grab a beer and a local meal (frog porridge, perhaps?), and settle in to enjoy the show.
