The room wasn't too small it was very ok as for the budget hotel. The lifts were very quick. Only the bathroom was a bit old and ugly. They provide you with coffee tea old mugs and a kettle. The area is ok and safe even though it's red light district.

Lets get a few things very straight at the first. In Singapore, Alcohol , Tobacco and Real Estate follow the exponential rules of mathematics when pricing themselves. This hotel is a budget hotel. So expect budget hotel stuff like small rooms and little washrooms. But It has the basic amenities are right in place. The towels and linen are clean,... More

I stay in this hotel for 16 days..my first impression was ok..but i am terribly shock when I found out that the water in the bathroom is rusty. .I use the water for 6 days and I only known its rusty when I use the bathtub . They transfer me to the 7th floor. .The staff cleaners are too noisy... More

We had booked a double room with an extra bed. Since we arrived before check in, we left our luggage at the reception during the day, when we went out exploring the city. Returning at night, we checked in and got our room. Turned out that the extra bed was an old mattress that was to be placed on the... More

Two colleagues and I stayed there for a night and I must say the place is very clean and the staffs are accommodating. There is free wifi in every room. The place is quite far from the city though but given with the accessible transportation in Singapore, distance is irrelevant. I would definitely stay here again since it's affordable too!

The location is at Geylang which is famous for its red light district and frog porridge. However, this hotel is quiet as it locating behind the busy main road. It is sandwiched between residential blocks and another hotel. The neighborhood is quiet and provide us a silent night sleep. I didn't even hear any motorcycle sound during my stay. A... More

Stayed here for four nights during my stay in Singapore. Regarding the price I paid, I think the stay was decent. The room itself was good, although the bathroom required some renovation works. As already mentioned in previous reviews, the location is not great. If you walk from the nearest MRT station to the hotel, you will encounter workers one... More

This hotel should be avoided. The rooms are old and in a terrible state.Small TV with poor selection of channels. The bathrooms seem not to have been renovated for 30 years.Much better option to stay at other renovated hotels nearby. Staff even refused to store a bag for me for 2 days claiming you need a return reservation. After my stay here I... More

The location shouldn't come as a shock to anyone who books in Geylang. I stayed 3 separate nights although 2 of them I checked out during the evening due to late night flights. The only issue is that on my 2nd visit I was allocated room 703 which had a damaged bathtub. I got a decent room (605) upon complaining.... More

Staying in Geylang

Neighborhood Profile
Geylang
Only a short journey from Singapore’s sparkling and polished city center, Geylang is a world away. Here in one of the least touristy areas of Singapore, visitors are privy to an unfiltered glimpse of Singapore life. On Sunday afternoons, migrant workers gather in Geylang to let off steam after a tough week. At the eastern end of Geylang Road, families and friends happily enjoy picnics. By contrast, at the western end, a more colorful side of Singapore can be seen, as street workers mingle with Sunday revelers in outdoor coffee shops. Take a friend, grab a beer and a local meal (frog porridge, perhaps?), and settle in to enjoy the show.
