Australian couple. Clean and safe accommodation. Rooms are very small, but perfect for this budget range in Singapore. Received free early checkin, free upgrade to Window room (low occupancy) and quick room change after minor plumbing issue. No Questions asked. Nice enough area, cheap eats, close to trains. WiFi uncapped approx 30Mbps per device.

Good location (5 minutes walk to 2 different MRT stations and 1 min walk to the bus stop). Decent room - not brand new furniture, but all in very decent condition. All clean and neat. TV with some English channels. Free coffee and tea and water. Wi fi works very well. And for this money its a bargain!

Excellent Hotel. Clean and fresh.. Staff are very much co-operative. Place is not good. But the hotel gives more comfort. only thing is that the room are small.. can reach railway station within 5 mins walk.. lot of food shop.. only Chinese food.

The bed was the most horrible bed I have ever slept on. Very discomforting and sleep unfriendly. The internet was okay as well as the location, but the customer service of the front desk officers would give you an impression you were being hated.

The rooms are nice and clean and the A/C worked fine. Free wifi and water. It is in the Red District so you might see working girls going in and out (we did). The staff at the front desk could use some more personality.

Affordable proper room in Singapore for the price is a real good deal. Great location, easy reach by Aljunied MRT (EW9) direct from airport, public buses and taxis. Varieties of food choices just around the corner, Mini markets and so on. Free wifi, free in room tea & coffee and free mineral water.

The staff at this hotel were really nice and helpful. They let us check in early without any fuss. It's not in the best part of town but we were out all day anyway. The room was clean & adequate. The only downside was the waterproof mattress & sheets that kept slipping out of place so we woke up a... More

Staying in Geylang

Neighborhood Profile
Geylang
Only a short journey from Singapore’s sparkling and polished city center, Geylang is a world away. Here in one of the least touristy areas of Singapore, visitors are privy to an unfiltered glimpse of Singapore life. On Sunday afternoons, migrant workers gather in Geylang to let off steam after a tough week. At the eastern end of Geylang Road, families and friends happily enjoy picnics. By contrast, at the western end, a more colorful side of Singapore can be seen, as street workers mingle with Sunday revelers in outdoor coffee shops. Take a friend, grab a beer and a local meal (frog porridge, perhaps?), and settle in to enjoy the show.
