I guess in a city of relatively expensive hotel rooms, this was a deal at 70 USD a night. It was small, and they wanted to charge $10 for internet which seemed like a ripoff.
The front desk staff was rude when I first arrived, seemed like she wanted to get rid of me. Once she found I was a paying guest, she became slightly friendlier.
The rooms are clean enough, though I came back to the room at 7:30 one night and the guy was just starting to clean, which seems a bit late.
The hotel is in the middle of the red-light area of Geylang. It's noisy all the time, and all up and down the street are hookers and their customers. To get to the hotel you probably have to walk past 20 prostitutes. However, things seemed friendly enough and I never felt like it was unsafe.
