This is a good hotel to stay. It's not too expensive, and still affordable for budget travelers. If you just look for a place to sleep because you're gonna go round Singapore, this hotel can be your choice. Even so, you can access free WiFi in the lobby and your room.

We choose this hotel because of its rates as we did not intend to stay long in the room and only needed a place to sleep but still the room alongwith the bathroom were astonishingly small. We were also somewhat deceived by the room pictures on their web site as the rooms were much smaller to what is shown on... More

Even if there is WIFI, it's not possible to use it most of the time due to more than weak signal. We changed our room to a lower floor but there was no improvement concerning the internet connection. As the hotel is located in the red light district, one can clearly hear certain noises sometimes as the walls aren't to... More

Look, this is a budget hotel in an expensive city. As World backpackers we haven't gots loads of money and hence our decision to stay here. Essentially it is a good, clean modern hotel with all you need in terms of wifi, safe. There is no restaurant so you will have to bring in or pop out. Excellent nearby food... More

This hotel is a budget hotel. No inhouse restaurant. For non-vegetarians, hawker center is there, just outside the hotel, for vegetarians it might be a problem, Rooms are good and services are average.

POSITIVES – Good price for Singapore, like a new travel lodge, everything you could want, impressive room design. NEGATIVES – Not much – still no soap in hand basin. SUMMARY – Overall I was very pleasantly pleased with the hotel and would recommend it for very serious consideration. Read on about location. Do not using lowcostholidays as they have massive... It is a great place for a very little price. I have stayed at this hotel a few times. The place is clean & the staffs are very friendly. It is not far from the city. The only thing is it is in the red light district. I would recommend it to anyone.

The hotel was a great find for the price $75CAD/night. Clean, comfy, minimal noise. Very nice lobby area. We didn't do much research and found ourselves to be in the middle of the red light district. We had a good laugh about that. Lots of good food nearby and easy to get to any main area or attraction. If the... More

Staying in Geylang

Neighborhood Profile
Geylang
Only a short journey from Singapore’s sparkling and polished city center, Geylang is a world away. Here in one of the least touristy areas of Singapore, visitors are privy to an unfiltered glimpse of Singapore life. On Sunday afternoons, migrant workers gather in Geylang to let off steam after a tough week. At the eastern end of Geylang Road, families and friends happily enjoy picnics. By contrast, at the western end, a more colorful side of Singapore can be seen, as street workers mingle with Sunday revelers in outdoor coffee shops. Take a friend, grab a beer and a local meal (frog porridge, perhaps?), and settle in to enjoy the show.
