Travelled together with friends and we put up 2 nights at this hostel. This would be my second time staying here. The overall experience was much better this time around as we manage to get a quad room for the 4 of us in the Dunlop street unit. Inn-crowd has another unit which is a few blocks away which IMHO... We stayed in this hostel for 2 nights in December 2011 and quite enjoyed our stay. It's a basic hostel, but it has got all the necessities you need. There's free wifi and the rooms and bathroom is clean. This hostel is centrally located in little India and is close to MRT station Bugis and little India.

My partner and I arrived late around 12am. Upon checking in it was discovered that I had stuff up the booking ha, but the man on the desk still said he could accommodate us, which sometimes doesn’t happen. We stayed two nights in a private room. Room was very clean with new sheets and pillows. I wasn’t woken once during... More

This hostel has great value for money. The lounge is really nice with a few couches, a big flatscreen tv with dvds, a wii with some games, three computers that you can use for free and a big chill out area with bean bags. There is free wifi in the lounge. The rooms to sleep in are average. The one... More

We stayed only one night but really liked this place. We booked in advance, everything went perfect and they even suggested us another room which was cheaper than the one we had requested. Rooms and Bathrooms were clean. Free Breakfast and Wifi and Tee/Coffee all day long. It's located in little India with cheap small indian restaurants as well as... More

Overall this was a decent option and you probably won't find much cheaper in Singapore. The rooms are clean, you can get free breakfast (2 eggs and as much toast, tea and coffee as you like) and free internet and wifi. There is quite a nice social area for hanging out in and you can watch movies and stuff. I... More

We made a reservation online and requested to be housed in their building along Dunlop Street. Upon checking in, we were told that there were no more beds available at the Dunlop building and were forced to check in at the Campbell branch instead. What was the reservation for then?! All the facilities such as living area, kitchen and computer... More

Pros: Helpful staff, a variety of tourist resources, comfortable mattresses, fast internet and WiFi, clean. Cons: Bathrooms on different floor, only 3 toilet stalls for all guests, Air Con is only turned on at night in dorms....and dorm rooms are unbearable hot during the day...daytime naps are very difficult. Other notes: 10 beds in the dorm rooms, unisex bathrooms, no... More

We stayed here for all of one night in july... we arrived off our night train and after a little wander stumbled across this place, it seemed amazing with free internet and free breakfast , and it had been mentioned in the lonely planet etc so we checked in at 1030... however, as soon as we paid we got told... Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
