it is very simple to be independant at this hotel. it's easy to get to and from the airport. we stayed in the penthouse family suite which was wonderfully spacious if you don't mind the stairs. the local restaurants were reasonably priced and tasty.

The staff were friendly and greeted us with a cool juice on arrival, the room was quite elegantly furnished but very small for three. We had only two tiny windows up near the ceiling, so no view to the street. The air conditioning was welcome though and the free wi-fi was good. The sleeping platform that had mattresses rather than... More

I had to spend 3 nights in Singapore and being my first visit, I wanted to stay in Little India, having heard a lot about it. I found a good discount deal on travelocity and thus booked Perak Hotel. Well, it is in Little India but a good 5-10 min walk from Mustafa Centre. Reception staff is polite enough. The... More

The staff was amazing! Very kind and helpful. The rooms were tiny, but had everything you needed and clean. I liked the little common area with free WIFI and coffee. My only complain was that it was very noisy. I don't recommend staying on the ground floor where you could be near the reception and kitchen.

We stayed for one night. The room was a standard room - very small window but good size room, very clean with comfortable beds and small but functional bathroom. We would stay again. The area is fascinating with food hall and train station in easy walking distance. People were lovely and let us store our bags and relax in the... More

Yes, the Perak Hotel is very well located in the heart of Singapore. And yes, the staff is more than friendly, nontheless this was one of the worst hotels we´ve ever been to during our worldtrip. Rooms are tiny, the standard room didn´t even have a proper window. Besides bathrooms are tiny and in average condition and due to it´s... More

Perak hotel does not look like much from the outside, just an ordinary structure of a building. But once you step in, it's clear that care has been taken to maintain the place to appeal to both business and leisure travelers. The staff at the front desk is polite and courteous. They are locally well connected and can suggest ways... More

Perak Hotel was just what we had hoped for, and more! Taking into account previous comments on the windowless rooms downstairs, we had opted for a Superior Room upstairs, and we weren't disappointed and were even upgraded free of charge. Check in was very friendly, with a welcoming glass of refreshing lemonade. Rooms are small but sufficient, and are indicative... More

My partner and I stayed at the Perak Hotel for a long weekend on stopover to UK. Everything about this place was good and most things were excellent. The highlights were the lovely staff - every single one of them was friendly and keen to go the extra mile to help (especially Jaylord who's smiling self we were pleased to... More

Fairly small clean rooms, poor quality breakfast, austere service and very dingy. Location is quite good in the middle of little India, however for the money there must be better options than this in Singapore with better service and room furnishings.
