Cheap hotel with good location in little india quite close to two MRT-stations (walking distance). Room was small without any window (not much natural light) and the furniture is older, but the room was functional and ok for the price (compared to other accommodations in Singapore). Staff was nice and friendly, but not overly customer-oriented. Breakfast was ok, but the... More

Fast check-in & check-out, the staffs are kind with their smiles, tasty breakfast. I stayed with my family (4 persons) for 2 nights only, well basically we only stay in this hotel for rest when night come. I think if you could lower the room price a little bit, this hotel would be a perfect place to stay in Singapore,... More

I have stayed in the hotel 3-4 times during the period of Feb and March 2015. After my the first visit, I had a good experience except for the fact the working staff is not courteous enough and have a knack of replying back. Nonetheless, I choose the hotel for my next trip as well. The reasons for soreness of... More

Its a decent low budget hotel. Don't expect anything great. The rooms are small but kept clean. Bathrooms are really small. So if you are a large person, u will find it difficult. Check the child policy clearly before booking. Breakfast is just standard, fried eggs, cereal, bread, butter, preserves, etc.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. the room was very cute, comfortable and cozy, the hotel staff were extremely efficient and always willing to answer any questions I had. The location is fantastic as it is walking distance from the metro and located in the heart of little India. I highly recommend this hotel for single travelers and... More

Clean rooms, limited but good humble breakfast. The staff at reception is very helpful with giving you information about attractions in SGP and how to go about it in the best possible manner. My stay was pretty pleasant and hope the same for you who's going through the review. Just be mindful that the rooms are small and bathrooms even... More

The Hotel Perak located in Little India is cozy and affordable. The rooms although small were clean and comfortable. The desk clerk upon check in was a little brisk, but the other staff, including desk clerks, were helpful, and pleasant. The location offers opportunities to sit with a coffee or soda at a patio table on the five foot way... More

I still haven't recovered from being billed for the hotel room - two months before leaving home! I do not accept this as being 'standard policy', and I don't think any travellers should. The hotel itself was fine, but in no way exceptional. The room was small but well appointed and functional. The location is excellent, the staff friendly. The... More

We went with this place as it was one of the few reasonably priced places to stay in Singapore without compromising a good location. The location did not let us down, easy to access public transport. It was also right next to a very tasty Indian restaurant. We had a ground floor room, which was small and had no windows... More

Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
