I booked this hotel because of location and cost for a sleep over only, awaiting my flight on in 9 hours. The price and location were great. The room was modern and clean. The staff exceptional, they tried to help with all my queries and hassles. But the room was noisy with other guests slamming doors and calling out to... More

Spent one day here while in transit in Singapore on the way to New Zealand. My breakdown: PROS good location, close to train station mid priced clean rooms CONS very small rooms weak airconditioning considering we stayed during the cooler months unhelpful staff I wouldn't mind coming back here solely for its price and location

Great Hotel, well priced and good location to food, transport, nightlife and markets. Busy street but quiet rooms from double glazing. New rooms, small but have everything you need. Very professionally run and green conscious.

Okay, after a two night stay I'm still trying to figure out what part of this accommodation deal was meant to be 'the bliss' ? My wife and I have stayed in lots of different 3/5 star hotels, guest houses, bungalows, shacks, even park benches, but this room takes the meaning of 'compact' to a whole new level! The minute... Despite this proximity our room on the was quiet. The King size bed was comfortable & the room spacious, but there was no wardrobe. No restaurant/b/fast, but plenty of food stalls/shops nearby.Adsl/Wi-fi worked well,... More

I was pleasantly surprised when I stepped into my room. Small but functional though missing a cupboard. The MRT was just across the road which made it very convenient to move around. Finding somewhere to eat is not a problem, even late at night. There are places selling teowchew porridge and hot pot which opened till very late.

We stayed three nights at the Bliss in late October. Across street from Chinatown MRT. Great location as it is within walking distance to Chinatown for great shopping and food. Very clean and functional hotel room. We had a window and an inside room so noise was not an issue. Free wifi in room worked well. Will definitely stay again... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
