Stayed 3 days in a single room. Location is very convenient walking distant to all great food market. Also MRT station right across hotel makes this very easy getting around Singapore also from the airport if you have to carry your luggage. I arrive early in the morning about 9am and I was really tired from my flight. When I... More

We recently spent 2 nights in Singapore and we were very pleased that we chose the Bliss Hotel. It has a wonderful location on the edge of Chinatown and is right across the street from a metro stop that will take you anywhere you want to go in the city. Chinatown is just the place for people who like to... More

We were placed in a level 1 room - as specified on the website, the rooms do not have windows. Which you think you would be ok, but after a while you really crave for light! The hallway smelt of mould and musky water - not good. We hardly could sleep since all we heard were other hotel patrons, running... More

Stayed 3 days in a single room. Asked for a quiet room. If my room was considered quiet, I feel sorry for people in a normal room. If you want noise, stay at this hotel. Positive comments: - CONVENIENT! Situated right opposite the Chinatown MRT station. Surrounded by night markets, McDonalds, restaurants, etc. - reception staff are very helpful -... More

The location is near Chinatown with many restaurants available. The hotel staff were fine and the rooms are clean, access to transportation was easy. If you're looking for a simple hotel that is in a decent location, affordable and clean this should do fine.

We stayed there for 3 nights and we booked a Deluxe double and the size is ok for 2 adults and 1 baby. The service is good and they had a cot bed ready for us. Our room is facing street but no noise at all. Negative point: The fridge is not cold unless we opened the cupboard! Microwave is... More

I booked this hotel because of location and cost for a sleep over only, awaiting my flight on in 9 hours. The price and location were great. The room was modern and clean. The staff exceptional, they tried to help with all my queries and hassles. But the room was noisy with other guests slamming doors and calling out to... More

Spent one day here while in transit in Singapore on the way to New Zealand. My breakdown: PROS good location, close to train station mid priced clean rooms CONS very small rooms weak airconditioning considering we stayed during the cooler months unhelpful staff I wouldn't mind coming back here solely for its price and location

Great Hotel, well priced and good location to food, transport, nightlife and markets. Busy street but quiet rooms from double glazing. New rooms, small but have everything you need. Very professionally run and green conscious.

Okay, after a two night stay I'm still trying to figure out what part of this accommodation deal was meant to be 'the bliss' ? My wife and I have stayed in lots of different 3/5 star hotels, guest houses, bungalows, shacks, even park benches, but this room takes the meaning of 'compact' to a whole new level! The minute... Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
