Hotel is located in Chinatown. Take the MRT there and go out the E exit - cross the street and you're there. The subway system in Singapore is excellent so being so close to a stop meant we didn't need to use a taxi even once. There is a shopping complex across the street (where the subway exit is); it... The hotel is in good shape, modern. The staff was good. Location is excellent if you want to stay in Chinatown. MRT across the street, tons of nearby food choices, shopping, etc. However, all of the Deluxe Rooms face a major busy street. The hotel's windows are not soundproofed, and the noise was more than I could tolerate or sleep... More

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. Comfy bed, great shower, and exceptionally clean, which is important because I travel with toddler. Room size isn't fancy but I could still put 1 large suitcase and a stroller in it. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Location also perfect, just across the road from Chinatown mrt line. You could also walk... More

Booked this hotel for a local stay-cation with my girlfriend. Rooms were clean and equipped with excellent shower facilities. Location was exceptional as the Chinatown MRT line is just across the road and you can get to anywhere in town with just a few train stops. There's alot of food nearby, be it local or international cuisine. Highly recommend this... More

We stayed 5 nights in this hotel. A Family Room for 3 Adults. 1.Very good location, near to Chinatown MRT "E" entrance. 2.Room is comfortable. 3.Quiet in the room. 4.Friendly staff. Just a problem, the shower is behind the toilet, when you take a bath, always make the toilet all over the water.

The hotel is in a great spot. The room was clean and reasonably spacious. Staff members were friendly and helpful. The only downside was the AC in the room, which was quite noisy and the temperature sensor didn't seem to work very well. Nonetheless it was a good stay and very affordable.

I stayed in the Deluxe King Room for 4 nights which while on the slightly small size was enough for me travelling alone. The bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom was also of a good size. Being located at the front of the hotel over the main road I was expecting it to be loud but it wasn't... More

The location is really good. U just need to go out from MRT E and cross the road. This hotel is precisely beside hotel 81 Chinatown .. Room is quite comfortable for me and all basic needs are ready. U don't need to bring towel, shampoo, bath gel, and hair dryer by yourself because this hotel has everything. They give... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colorful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
