This is the most dishonest hostel that I have ever encountered. What made me disappointed was that we booked a 6-bed family room but they provided us with a 8-bed room with 2 males inside the room. As a group of girls, this experience made some of us uncomfortable during the stay. In addition, we are not the only group... More

I stayed at Central 65 for a month with another friend. During the month we were working on a placement with long days. Central 65 were very accommodating of this, trying to limit the noise we had in the room by limiting the number of people and gave us early breakfast - however on a few occasions it was not... More

On our path from Arab street to little India we entered the cafe of Central 65. Friendly staff welcomed us. We took some light sandwich's and Cappucino. Quality was good but Cappucino could be slightly hotter. But even with a les temperature it was a good tasting Cappucino. WiFi for guests available. Only disappointing issue was that they only accept... More

Dear Frank-in-Roesrath, I'm glad that you enjoyed our newly renovated cafe, one with which our baristas take serious pride in their work. I regret that we weren't able to accommodate you with a credit card payment system. We are in our pre-opening phase, and are currently working to install a credit card machine for your ease. I'm glad you enjoyed... More

I stayed in Singapore for six days and it was all unplanned. I was supposed to stay in Changi Airport for less than 24 hours, but I encountered some ticket stuff problems. Unfortunately, all hotels and hostels are almost fully book because of the long weekend holiday. I found this Central 65 Hostel on Google, booked for two days and... More

Nice place to stay. Really comfort room, i wish i could stay a little longer. Near from foodstall, bugis junction, mustafa centre. The environment was really good for ladies. There's a bus stop in front of this hostel, not too far from Bugis MRT station and Ferrer Park MRT Station. Nice staff, nice manager, nice breakfast, i'll be back to... More

I was pleasantly surprised with the politeness and helpfulness of the staff in this small budget " joint" and would love to recommend to anybody who don't mind a bit of mixing up. The beds were clean and comfortable and the bathrooms were not that bad. Wifi and breakfast are not bad for the money you offer. Only bad I... More

Staying in Little India

Neighborhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly colored saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colorful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Center, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colorful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
