This was my second stayed at Bugis project but my 4th stays at 5footway singapore. Booked the deluxe single room through agoda. no hassle and got the good deal. On the day, i arrived early (11am) before the check in time (3pm). Thus as usual i checked in first (gave passport and key deposit) to Vivian. She explained the house... More

We had a great stay at this hostel. The room is not overly luxurious, but paying S$30 per night per person in Singapore is a pretty good steal. Breakfast was simple (toast, coffee, cereal, etc.) but it was all you needed. The free hot chocolate/coffee etc. 24/7 was a great addition! The showers were kept pretty clean and had great... More

Facilities: I booked 1 private room with shower with double bed of course storey bed). All of them are new with free wifi in room. However, I smelled something stinky... More

The staff in this hotel was awesome.... They were very attentive... The room and the toilet is very clean also... My friend had recommended this, and was also approved for me... You have to be quickly to reserve it, because the demand is highly if you are planning to stay in shared rooms.

We chose this hotel because of its convient location in the heart of Bugis, and because we were only spending one night in Singapore (to board a cruise ship the next day). We have in past stayed near Tiang Bahru, however the location of 5footway much better to explore a few surrounding areas that evening on foot. The staff were... More

Staying in Kampong Glam

Neighborhood Profile
Kampong Glam
This traditionally Malay enclave of Singapore offers an alluring array of shops, cafes, and bars. A walk down Haji Lane offers quirky shopping, while one block over, Arab Street is a treasure trove of brightly colored fabrics, clothing, and Turkish rugs. Stop for a leisurely coffee or cocktail and watch local kids play traditional games along the lane. Also home to the Malay Heritage Center and one of Singapore’s most prominent mosques (Sultan Mosque), Kampong Glam is a must-visit for a tantalizing taste of Malay life in this city.
