There is nothing special about the rooms here, and they are tiny, but good value for the price. The use of loft beds makes efficient use of the small space and the lack of window in the room we had was no problem - if anything it ensured a quiet night's sleep! The staff were helpful throughout our stay. The... More

Accommodation in Singapore is expensive and space is at a premium. This hostel is comfortable, but the rooms are shoeboxes. It is perfectly satisfactory for getting a night's sleep. Breakfast is minimal, white bread, spreads, cereals, poor coffee. One of the receptionists was very friendly, all were helpful.

Hostels are typical, but what i like from 5footway.inn project bugis are it's cleanliness and they provide breakfast. The room wasn't spacious but enough, as space in Singapore is really expensive. I received postcards as small gift upon check out, small touch always make a good impression. i like it and really appreciate it. Recommend these hostel to others...

This is the first hostel I've stayed in and thank God that is so good :) Dorm is clean, quite and worth the money. The location is very good too. I met a lot of backpackers here and got some great tips for traveling alone from them. Highly recommend :)

This was my second stayed at Bugis project but my 4th stays at 5footway singapore. Booked the deluxe single room through agoda. no hassle and got the good deal. On the day, i arrived early (11am) before the check in time (3pm). Thus as usual i checked in first (gave passport and key deposit) to Vivian. She explained the house... More

We had a great stay at this hostel. The room is not overly luxurious, but paying S$30 per night per person in Singapore is a pretty good steal. Breakfast was simple (toast, coffee, cereal, etc.) but it was all you needed. The free hot chocolate/coffee etc. 24/7 was a great addition! The showers were kept pretty clean and had great... More

Facilities: I booked 1 private room with shower with double bed of course storey bed). All of them are new with free wifi in room. However, I smelled something stinky... More

we came here with our two daughters and stayed in the 4 bed family ensuite. The room was small but met our needs. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Cleaning staff was hard at work all day. We loved our stay and extended it by another 5 days. Highly recommend this hostel to anyone traveling with their family or... More

Staying in Kampong Glam

Neighborhood Profile
Kampong Glam
This traditionally Malay enclave of Singapore offers an alluring array of shops, cafes, and bars. A walk down Haji Lane offers quirky shopping, while one block over, Arab Street is a treasure trove of brightly colored fabrics, clothing, and Turkish rugs. Stop for a leisurely coffee or cocktail and watch local kids play traditional games along the lane. Also home to the Malay Heritage Center and one of Singapore’s most prominent mosques (Sultan Mosque), Kampong Glam is a must-visit for a tantalizing taste of Malay life in this city.
