Yes we've stayed here twice during our Asia tour back in August 2013. At that time we really enjoyed our stay. This time around I thought that the place looks a little tired and so is the surroundings. We would have returned for an overnight stay however wasn't too enthusiastic about it. It isn't bad and is in a great... More

if you're looking for a quiet hotel this is a perfect hotel to stay. You can enjoy latte, milo, white coffee, teh tarik, cappucino freely anytime you want :-D. Unfortunately they don't provide double bed. So i slept saparately with my hubby in a twin bed room :-(. Overall i was happy spending 4 nights in this hotel.

I came with my friends, four of us booked for quardruple room. At first I'm so glad that the crew was so friendly and helpful. But as soon as we see the room, I feel a little bit dissapointed. It's clean enough but so tiny, even we couldn't have much space for our luggage. It's not stop right there, because... More

There is nothing special about the rooms here, and they are tiny, but good value for the price. The use of loft beds makes efficient use of the small space and the lack of window in the room we had was no problem - if anything it ensured a quiet night's sleep! The staff were helpful throughout our stay. The... More

Accommodation in Singapore is expensive and space is at a premium. This hostel is comfortable, but the rooms are shoeboxes. It is perfectly satisfactory for getting a night's sleep. Breakfast is minimal, white bread, spreads, cereals, poor coffee. One of the receptionists was very friendly, all were helpful.

Staying in Kampong Glam

Neighborhood Profile
Kampong Glam
This traditionally Malay enclave of Singapore offers an alluring array of shops, cafes, and bars. A walk down Haji Lane offers quirky shopping, while one block over, Arab Street is a treasure trove of brightly colored fabrics, clothing, and Turkish rugs. Stop for a leisurely coffee or cocktail and watch local kids play traditional games along the lane. Also home to the Malay Heritage Center and one of Singapore’s most prominent mosques (Sultan Mosque), Kampong Glam is a must-visit for a tantalizing taste of Malay life in this city.
