I stayed in their dorm bed for 2 nights. It's not clean, not organized and congested. But at SG$12/night, it's the cheapest I could find in SG. To those on a really tight budget, this place is a blessing. Being close to the MRT, it all evens out to 'average'.

I'm from batam, indonesia. Before going to bangkok for holiday, I stay one night at this hotel coz there's no direct flight between batam and bangkok. This hotel is very very bad, the bed and the bathroom is dirty, you have to walk about 30 meters ahead to find out the reception. I can't sleep at this hostel. Really really... More

Heard of those terrible reviews before checking in to this backpacker. I did, however choose to stay in this backpacker due to its close proximity to the MRT station. First up, upon making a booking, they promised not to charge my debit card as it was just required to secure a booking. I then received a notification saying that my... More

I booked a quadrupple room for Jan 7-Jan 8,2013. I read some reviews about this hostel and most of them are terrible, so I expect nothing from this hostel. This hostel is really close to Kallang MRT station. All you can do after arriving at Kallang MRT station is cross the streets, look at your right and you can see a... More

It was very disappointing as the Hostel reception did not act as per my reservation. My reservation was for "Air-conditioned, mixed Dormitory Room can accommodate up to 8 guests" as illustrated in the web, but we (3 of us) were given a room of 10 guests. I have requested for TWO LOWER BEDS in 'Special Requests' but they gave us... More

The hostel is located so close to MRT Kallang. But believe me it is the only advantage you'll benefit by staying there. The rest is disaster. The bathroom is so dirty. The bes allocation was so poor. A frienf just rejected to sleep on a bed. She take a long stay and hang all her clothes in the room. There... More

After arriving late at night, we had difficulties trying to find reception. Upon check in the guy tried to full us and make us pay again, when we had already prepaid AND the receipt of our payment was attached to the booking form! Once we cleared that up he laughed (prob knowing he didnt get away with it! ) He... More

Rats, cockroaches, disgusting toilets and showers that were never cleaned, rooms were awful, difficult to find. If you have seen the movie 'The Beach' with Leonardo DiCaprio the hostel he stays in is exactly like city backpackers. Not up to western standards. Just pay the money and get a hotel, it's not worth ruining your entire holiday over it. DO... More
