“Good Deal, Nice Staff”

This hostel has only dorms, each with 8 beds. However, the dorms are cleaned daily, not a mess, and there is even an air freshener in each one which sprays every 15 minutes so it doesn't smell. The sheets towels and blankets are all decent quality, and the mattresses and pillows are good, not like the cardboard you'll find elsewhere... More

“Good place, a bit loud, small”

We stumbled upon this place while looking for a place to stay for the night. The others in the area doesn't look as nice. The room we stayed in was quite small with a low ceiling. I stayed for one night on the ground floor dorm at 28 Dunlop Backpacker Hostel and was pretty relieved to leave the next day. For a price of 28 SGD (25 SGD if you stay for three nights) the hostel offers 8 bed dorm rooms with air-con and barely passable cleanliness, as long as you didn't look at the stains... More

The other hostels and bars alongside it and within Little India only know this place as 28 Dunlop Street..and now I know why. Stayed here because other places were fully booked one night.
