The hotel is really unique! Room was clean, bathroom was quite spacy and service was nice. Staff really helpful to foreigners who speak English and Malay. But, because it is located right in the city, you'll hear some traffic noises at night. For me, it doesn't matter. Anyway, it is near the bus and MRT station, and really convenient to... More

Came here after our two week cruise. Need a place for a few before we decided to move on to our next destination. We got 2 nights stay as we have no idea of this hotel and to avoid disappointments. Room we got first one next to the elevator was huge. Enough space to move around and each of us... More

Stayed here for a week and had a great time. Great location with several MRT stations within walking distance and a major bus stop just a few metres down on the opposite side of the road. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean, breakfast menu is diverse and all the options were really good. Service was really good - we... More

Don't ever stay here. It's over priced and dirty! Pay the extra money and get something better. It's just an expensive backpacker hotel. The rooms are tiny and if swinging a cat is one of your hobbies you won't be able to do more than a 90 degree cat swing.

Location wise: Near Mustafa (shopping area) 3 stops from Lavender MRT Area: Have several food stalls nearby, just walking distance and have 7/11 in front, plus close to bus stop. Hotel: The edifice is old but still nice. It's like a typical old house. Room: Just nice for couple, but the carpet needs some shampooing. It smells mouldy, and we have to... More

The hotel was located on Jalan Besar, opposite to a food centre. It's quite far away from Lavender or Farrar Park MRT stations. It's even harder if you carry your luggage and walk along the road from either of the two MRT stations to the hotel. The air con at the lobby is strong, which is good, but the air... More

The hotel is a little dated but price is good by Singapore standards. Room was very small but bed was pretty comfortable. Breakfast is extra but was good and restaurant staff very nice. Wifi was excellent. Desk night guy was obviously looking for a new line of work and of little to no help when we arrived at 2:000 am.... More

if you're into real, this is the place for you. loved the 30"s decor with a mix of the 70"s thrown in there for good luck. Great staff, prompt and well spoken. Cafe downstairs has cool beats going as well as reasonably priced food. NB it can get noisy with traffic, its fine though. Clean and well kept. loved the... More

It was pretty hard to find the hotel , we tried to get there by subway and we took the wrong exit at the station, sat down at a friendly pizzeria who gave us free wifi but even then it was hard.. Pretty far away from the biggest see worthy things too, but who can complain when price was really... More

We stayed for 2 nights and experienced an interesting vintage feel. It surely was a different part of Singapore we knew. But it was quite exciting. Say, colors they choose for the interior makes a good background for taking photos! A funny little elevator that is so slow, better take stairs. Very small room, but fair price. Bed is good,...
